Unanswered Shimano ep8 chainring..

Was swapping my bike over to AXS & 12spd Eagle groupset on the rear and noticed that 3 of the chain ring bolts on the front shimano chain ring were loose. 2 have re-tightened but one is just spinning. I'll have a better look at it tomorrow but suspect the thread may be stripped as it's not biting at all and a new chain ring possibly required. Is it just the one option for the ep8 - Shimano STEPS SM-CRE80-12 Chainring?

I may be stating the obvious, but there are two options on that link, 34t and 36t. There may be other chainlines on offer from other websites, but I don't know. But at that price, like you, I sure as hell would have to be certain I'd got the correct spec before I pressed "buy".

Yeah it's def a 34T that I need. You're right on the chainline. Looks like there is a 53 and a 56.5mm option. I'll go check with Merida see what's right.
