Looking to swap out the stem on my e160 so need to remove the front light as it's next to useless anyway. It's a sealed unit on the back of the light so must be a plug/connector somewhere inside the frame I can hopefully dismantle and pull through. Cable runs through the internal routing at the...
Can anyone confirm what volume spacers fit in the Marzochi bomber z1 ebike fork that comes on the e160? Is it fox 36 Orange 10cc? (Waiting on delivery of top cap spanner so can't look to see what's in there already just yet and can't find it in the manual). TIA
Planning a North Wales trip for the end of August. Have done south wales a few times now so looking for some new rides. Will have 3 days with the ebike and hopefully 2 batteries by then to cram in as much as I can. Probably a few trail centre rides and hopefully a couple of others incl Snowdon...
Planning a few big multi day rides and a spare battery is going to help things. Bike has the e8036 630WH battery in it but they look to be out of stock or priced through the roof at the moment. Seen a few of the e8035 540WH batteries available though which would probably do me. Are the...
Don't know about it's suitability for a conversion but have a 2020 Cube Acid XXL frame size hardtail for sale if interested. 29er. Only used for 3 months before upgrading to full suss.
Looking to add volume spacers to the rear shock (Fox DPX2). Am I right in thinking that there's no need to remove the shock from the bike to do this. Have good access to the shock on the bike so should be able to unscrew the air chamber in-situ unless there's any reason not too? It's on a Merida...
Lost the hex key that stores in the rear axle for the battery release over last couple of days. Not the end of the world but was handy to have easily accessible on the bike. Anyone know if you can get replacements? Couldn't see it on Merida site and quick google didn't bring it up.
TIA
2 days of riding at Cwmcarn and Afan. 4 trails about 80km in all. It's rocky terrain so there were a fair few rock strikes off the front wheel, couple of knocks where I got caught going over bigger stuff etc and the bashguard is totally fine - barely a scratch on it. It has to be deflecting off...
Really impressed with the quality. Fits absolutely perfectly and covers part of the down tube, under and around the motor. Held in place with 2 velcro straps. Foam lined on the inside with what feels like a very tough outer. Hasn't taken any hits yet but off to Wales on Wednesday so will get a...
Yep mine's exactly the same (e160 8000). One of the reasons I bought the Amygos bash guard. Covers the entire area and bottom/side of motor so bash protection and prevents a lot of mud/water hitting that area. (still lets it drain though)
Propain Tyee 29er. Love the bike but it was pedalling this round South Wales for 40km that sold me on an ebike :D Split my time between the two now but ebike is taking over a bit. Still, trip to Bike Park Wales in a few weeks and this will be in its element!
Easy job in the end (Thanks Gordon). Managed to hold the wire in place with the bands from my Garmin mount so all nicely tucked out the way and looks fine. The extra 20mm rise on the bars feels spot on now too. (y)(y)(y)
Few rides in now on my new e160 8000 and I'd like to add a bit more rise & width to the bars. Went to swap over to a spare 40mm rise/800mm width alloy bar I have today and discovered the internal routing to the Shimano controller on the standard bars.
Can't see any available options for a new...
