Did BPW and never used the the uplift, frankly I think it’s odd to use the uplift if you’re riding an eBike! However, I do tend to take my MTB to bike parks.
I raced my mate from the bottom, he took the uplift with a very small queue, I was up before him.
Yep, thought about it, what’s your point?
Does Sam Hill now lack flamboyancy because he rides a 29er, etc?
All your posts are basically stating how you ride, and your personal views, are all that matters - and everyone else is wrong! Does make for a good laugh though ?
There are still plenty of 27 bikes about, Whyte, Commencal, Merida and Cannondale, to name a few!
If you look at EWS and Downhill, 29ers and mullets seem to be leading the way. Not that it’s better for your average rider, although it’s my preference.
I managed to do Queenstown/Skyline bike park and Rude Rock at Coronet Peak (using Queenstown bike taxi service), whilst on honeymoon early this year!
Fantastic riding, even bumped into Bernard Kerr who is local to me back home!
Worth dropping a line to Queenstown bike taxi service, they were...
What’s as annoying as being labelled a cheat on an EMTB is EBike riders who think they have discovered some sort of utopia that’s just so much better than MTB.
Clearly it’s down to personal preference but I’ll always choose my MTB first. Maybe that will change when I’m old and fat ?
I tend to refer to riding my eMTB as a cheat day, it’s only light hearted. I also relish the opportunity to have a discussion with anyone who challenges them.
I still like the stomach churning grind on my MTB, so when I get on my eMTB it 100% feels like cheating, and I’m giggling like a little...
Lots of talk about invalid warranties from de restricting.
I’m sure that’s the official stance but it’s not the case local to me, I know a number of de restricted Shimano and Brose motors that have been replaced. I guess it depends on your dealer.
I ride my MTB 90% of the time, but for that...
You need to lighten up a bit. Laughing at people who fall off their bikes is quite a strange attitude to have..:.
I rode around with the 15mph limit until I realised that literally everyone I was riding with, and most of the members of this forum, have derestricted their bikes.
Go back under...
I probably wouldn’t bother with my eBike much if it had to go back to the UK 15mph limit, too much of a compromise compared to my MTB.
The US 20mph limit seems just right for my trails?
I watched MPs questioning Mike Ashley, on the whole he came over as a genuine passionate guy, who’s focus is to not let the high street go to shit. He gave Sports Direct staff the chance to vote on zero hours contracts, and the majority voted in favour. Clearly he employs some questionable...
Why not just ride your normal bike? ?
I think switching between the two helps improve riding ability far more than just sticking to your EMTB, well, it has for me.
