I agree there has been some issues but I still think the official warranty is 2 years. Of course, when after 2 years many riders are complaining about the lifetime/reliability you will end up with a legal discussion like "Was the motor designed as "fit for purpose"?" Then Specialized/Brose will...
I just checked your link...
A little further in the text is says:
Les composants et éclairages du Turbo (à l’exception des pièces d’usure standard telles que listées ci-dessous), le moteur Turbo, la batterie (ou au moins 75 % de sa capacité après 300 cycles de charge), et les pièces...
Can you send the weblink where you found this? I wasn't aware about it. Curious about the warranty in The Netherlands then...
I was only able to find:
Global Warranty Page | Specialized.com
Within the second link it says:
I am sorry as my french was my worst language on high school but I...
Only firmware 2.025 or newer for Levo 2019 is blocked. Levo 2016, 2017, 2018 can still be modified. Also Kenevo 2017, 2018 abd 2019 and Levo HT until today can be modified.
I feel sorry for you! I must say too that I also exchanged some PM’s with David regarding some issues which I experienced and all of them are solved according to my satisfaction. (only open issue is the electric cable redesign)
I also doubted regarding the Canyon. The German factory is not far...
I like the yellow, but agree it’s a trendy colour.
@Thomas performed a beautiful upgrade based on the yellow FRS version. I tried to search for the pictures but couldn’t find the thread that quickly. It’s worthwile to search for them as an example how you can make this bike and colour even more...
Hi Baron,
Please read this post:
The Official BLEvo Thread - EMTB Forums
Once you have performed the settings above then download the BLEvo manual:
Instruction manual in english
If you still have issues please let us know and we will try to help you.
I think this is the current design compare the design for example too an earlier post:
Internal Power Cable Failure, Levo 2019 - EMTB Forums
If yuo look closely to the picture of the link above you will see the connector is cracked. This is exactly the same issue which I had. I didn't have...
Speaking about Blackview, it depends if you want the barometer or not. The BV5500 or BV5500PRO do not contain the barometer. I (and Paolo) use the BV6000 with barometer.
Strange issue. Not sure which bike you have but maybe a factory reset of the bike will help? For the Levo 2019 I know the procedure is explained in the manual.
Recently I rode from The Netherlands to Italy in snowing and raining conditions. I took the battery out of the frame and put the electric connector which connects to the battery in a plastic bag which I fixed with two tie wraps. (according Specialized’s recommendation)
It worked fine. Good luck...
Thanks @Specialized Rider Care again for your valued support and comments!
May I just ask you one question more of which I am sure it’s a burning question at many other riders too? If we all agree wheel circumference setting of 2000 is the minimum allowed (inline with current dealer software)...
For me this sounds totally abnormal. I checked your Youtube channel. You posted a video 5 months ago too about this topic. Also there the noise level is already at such an irritating level that I would never ever accept it.
Good luck and hopefully Specialized/Brose is able to solve the issue...
If I would be you, I would ask @Specialized Rider Care for their support. According to my opinion it’s impossible that BLEvo can cause your battery to fail. For me it feels your LBS in Brunei is just using a simple excuse to end your claim. Possibly they do not understand what BLEvo can and...
Mine is loose too. Had been asking myself already why this would be designed in this way. However as the axle is fixed and I don’t have any issues I didn’t pay any attention too it.
