You have set it correctly. Yesterday I was thinking you maybe would have set the min and max assistance range very closely to each other and this could maybe explain why you didn’t feel any difference.
As I don’t have firmware 3.019 I can’t compare. Maybe Paolo has another idea?
Did you configure smart HR settings between an min and max %? If you add the assistance % to your display you should be able to see the assistance % change as soon as you reach your set heart rate value.
Can you test this?
As you said yesterday you are riding with firmware 3.019, correct?!
If so, this phenomenon (watts issue) is part of one of the early firmware issues. From my perspective you would be able to solve it with a firmware update. @PaoloBLEvo, please confirm... However you will not be able to adjust...
You are right! It means “Range left”. Important to understand is you have two options to calculate this value. To suit different needs (depending on the terrain) Paolo designed BLEvo in such way that the rider can choose to include or exclude the amount of km’s in descend. You can select this...
Thanks!
Not sure if you are aware but BLEvo has an option to ask for each ride about the height you start your tour. (this way weather influences are automatically eliminated) I activated that option and now, based on my experience of today with latest Android update, it’s really very accurate.
That depends on if you are happy with current performance and speed.
I know later versions have improved shuttle mode and walk assist. Also some other things are improved.
My bike has been upgraded by LBS before delivery. I ride with 2.026.
Hi Paolo,
Today I have been riding following official mtb track with latest BLEvo version in The Netherlands:
Windraak
I downloaded the official gpx track. The length is 37km and the amount of height meters 561.
Underneath the result when I returned to my car:
I think BLEvo total amount of...
I just watched your video. Regarding the more powerfull new motor this might has to do with the latest firmware. Regarding the sound, for my feeling, mine is less noisy but it’s hard to say based on your camera and mic setup compared to real situation when sitting on the bike.
If you still...
Yes, correct! In any case it wasn’t a BLEvo issue as I had connection issues with Mission Control as well. Somehow my TCU was showed up as two MAC addresses. LBS mounted a new TCU and reloaded the bikes firmware.
Since that moment connection is still not 100%. Sometimes it costs a 1,5 minute to...
Hi Jeff,
I also considered the BV5500 and the BV5500PRO. I only choose the BV6000 due to the barometer feature. As the BV6000 is already an older design I think the BV5500's design will be nicer and it contains a newer Android version as well. I think you will enjoy it.
Regarding the pricing...
Hi, thanks for the pictures! Looks very nice! You did a good job...
Don't know you preference but soon there will be a new dashboard in landscape version. Paolo has already been testing it:
The Official BLEvo Thread - EMTB Forums
Unfortunately there seems to be an issue with Google's play...
The "connected to smart power" option is selectable in BLEvo android version. I also can't find it in BLEvo ios version. Maybe this option ended up within the ios manual due to a copy-paste mistake after copying Smart Power texts from the Android manual.
I think only Paolo can answer if and how...
Hi GZA,
You don't need to insert a sim card into the BV6000. You can store the openandromaps offline. When I arrive home the BV6000 picks up my wifi signal and then I replicate my ride to Strava.
Maybe Paolo has other ideas which can cause the crashing on your phone but did you already try the...
Thanks Masstricht - you are a star. -> Thanks, I need to remind my wife... She is only complaining I am too much visiting EMTBforums... ;)
I measured it very simple. I put a piece of tape on the floor and one piece of tape on my handlebars. Then I turned my rear wheel so the valve is exactly...
When I started using BLEvo I used it on my iPhone 6. (meanwhile have an iPhone 8) I guess you are right battery consumption is significant if you leave the screen at full brightness and always on. You can also choose to turn off the screen or only turn it on when you need it.
When I used my...
