    Which new bike

Cheers Steve, need to find demos tbh. Without riding YT decoy or Haibike flyon would be short listed. Decoy seems to have modern geometry and wheels for downhill use. My bike is great at the bike parks but I do fancy something more suitable and more bikes are always better lol

    Which new bike

The YT decoy looks lovely and there’s the Haibike nduro with flyon motor, too much choice

    Which new bike

Had my Scott egenius 720 for a year now, forks got upgraded to Fox 34 rhythm which improved it massively. It’s a superb trail bike at my local Sherwood pines but I want to add something more suited to places like bike park wales and Leeds urban bike park. I do like the Bosch system and the cube...

Article Bike Park Wales on an eBike

Done it twice on my ebike with non ebike mates, used the uplift too !. I was surprised there was no negatives with the weight and was the quickest of our group even with riders much more experienced than me. A quick strava showed times amongst the quickest there for the day proving the extra...

Talk some sense into me (HT vs FS)!

I've got both, both with the bosch system in. The HT picks up speed quicker and is faster on smoother stuff and it also gets slightly better range. I do use the FS more as I prefer the comfort and it just doesn't matter on an ebike that the rear suspension saps some power :) But if budget...

    LETS SEE YOUR RIDE FOOTAGE

I rarely take a camera out but did so I could share some of Sherwood pines for friends who want to ride there. First video bit of downhill and red, second video mainly off piste

    What 'vehicle' to buy?

Lol, when I put the mtb in mine they are on a board and a sheet is wrapped round the seats and sides. Ours is also used as the family bus and I like my vehicles to be kept mint ?

    What 'vehicle' to buy?

Road tax is £255 for all imports. There’s loads for sale tbh. If it drives nice odds are it’s fine as I’ve said they are a simple thing. Cat removal is essential but a non issue to get done, same with all the auxiliary belts and I’d also swap all fluids.Although not expensive check discs and...

    What 'vehicle' to buy?

Definitely Alphard biased, not hard to change head unit in Elgrand, Elgrand v6 is timing chain not belt like Alphard, mpg similar but Elgrand more powerful. No point going for smaller engines on either. Both are a good buy

    What 'vehicle' to buy?

Take front wheel out and put a 10” wheelbarrow wheel in, 2 mins to do and it’ll fit ?

    What 'vehicle' to buy?

One thing with an Elgrand get the middle cats removed, costs about £100 but they have been known to collapse and block exhaust. Apart from that usual items to check. They like a gearbox oil change and engine oil every 6k miles. We’ve had 2 sets of suspension bushes in 4 years too. No cam belt on...

    What 'vehicle' to buy?

Completely different top end, they are 240hp and tuning isn’t easy. They are lively enough for a big bus 0-60 around 7s so amusing on the traffic light GP but they are a comfy relaxing drive.

    What 'vehicle' to buy?

Yup a good forum and a few specialists, all service parts easy and cheap enough and non service parts a day or so to order. They are a simple reliable thing though.

    What 'vehicle' to buy?

Over the years we have had vans and kombi vans, from the top of the range T5.1 180 to a Brabus vito and as nice as they are none of them drive like a car. We have a couple of new transits and they are nice too but still not a car and all of them bar the V6 vito are slow. For personal use 4...
