Each to their own I guess, I thought it better to stop this stuff in case it stops my ebike hobby, on the road I wouldn’t mind so much but in a crowded area I do mind,, hey ho
Using a motorbike on a playing field full of people in a public place ?, would it be the same if it was a petrol engined bike ?
Still no fighting though ?
Was at Sherwood pines yesterday with my daughter, it was packed with people everywhere as weather was nice.
There was however some prick with a Bultaco brinco, giving people rides and they were flying across the parks where people were walking and playing. As he was giving folk a go he was...
I only rode my normal bike with my 5 year old daughter, we manage 5 - 10 miles easily enough. I much prefer the speed of the ebike though. I wasn’t a regular mtb’r before the ebike but I can see a normal bike in the future for bike parks with an uplift ?
We had this on a mates Bosch bike, when he put a lot of pressure through the pedals it clicked or creaked. In this case it was the motor mounting bolts that needed a tighten up simple as that
Summed up nicely, was good to ride with experienced riders and get bits of advice through the ride. Won’t be the last time for a forum ride and glad we found more stuff at Pines we didn’t know. Maybe next time we’ll get a few more to enjoy the ride
Black Scott, mainly black gear but you can’t miss my white bus I’ll be straight there after school run maybe a few mins before 10am. Mate will be with me on his blue Scott in a blue transit.
I like the idea of waxing but, for mine I wash down with the rest of the bike then blow the chain dry. I then use a chain lube/GT85 or tbh whatever is lying around. I'm 500 miles on this chain and it's still absolutely fine. I keep an eye out for deals on chains and always keep a spare, for what...
I changed my saddle on my ebike for an old comfort one I had and it’s made a massive difference, I’ve also added a suspension post to my HT and again that has helped, I spend way more time sat down on the ebike compared to a normal bike even on the rough stuff
Yup I'll be there to see what the weather is when I get there. If it is a thunderstorm we're in the cafe and chatting but as you say if it's light rain or dry we'll be out :)
Can only do weds next week for me as it's my day off, sometimes take thursdays as well in future though :)
Assuming dry or at least not raining then 10am in car park, don't mind if ready to go or unpacking theres no rush
