Anyone else want to meet up next Wednesday at Sherwood Pines, Maybe a ride round the red with some off piste and bike park thrown in prob a couple of hours worth 15-20 miles ?
I use a Garmin edge explore and it's been superb. Links to phone and syncs with strava. I use viewranger to plot my routes and save them as .gpx files. I then transfer these to the garmin and they are there to follow. All works seemlessly and easy although you do need a PC to get them easily...
This week several laps of sherwood pines and some off piste stuff, checked out stockley trail which is local to, been mixing rides between hard tail and my full suspension bikes.
This is Stockley trail, short and a nice ride

Still post there but sold bike last week all seems expensive compared to this , going ok on the ebike tbh it’s definately exciting at times. How did you break your neck then ?
Had a good few runs out on the hardtail now, it's definately a quicker bike on flat and smoother sections which is no surprise as it is an XC bike whereas my FS bike is more enduro. Surprisingly though on some downhill the HT is faster. May not be a surprise to some but as it's all new to me it...
Can't agree with some of that tbh especially turbo mode as it has it's uses some times, its like owning a car or a motorbike and not running it to the redline for funt at times why wouldn't you ?, I don't need all those rules I just ride with common sense and courtesy same as I do on my non...
My ebike journey began last October with the purchase of my Scott e-genius 730 full suspension bike. I'd had a mountain bike years but never used it as I had other hobbies and tbh my fitness wasn't up to going as fast as I wanted, not having the time to improve this I just didn't bother. Fast...
I’ve got a Scott egenius full suspension and sold my Scotthard tail ebike to a friend. Kind of regretted it and when I saw a reaction race 500 in the sales with £800 off and the same battery as my Scott I ordered it. It’ll be good for gentler longer rides on the trails, looking forward to it ?
Both my Scott’s are external battery and can swap between them easily, looking for a new bike and I’d like to keep the same power pack but loads are going to integrated, I prefer external for ease of carrying too
Had a good run round my local trail centre dropping in my best time on their red route, on the 2nd lap though took a jump about 20mph slightly downhill but almost flat landing and about 6’ high, landed rear wheel just before front but still bottomed out and a Big Bang from the forks....they lost...
