Thinking of buying a specialised to go with my Scott that has a Bosch motor, I like the display of the Bosch as it has a fairly accurate remaining range. Is this something I can have either using the mission control app on a phone or the Garmin app specialised provide ? Thanks
Not my bike but a friends with the Bosch CX motor, only done 300 miles but just over 2 years old. When he pushes down on the pedals there is a creaking noise. Only there when putting weight through pedals. Before I take to bits I’m assuming the bolts that hold motor to frame need tightening but...
I use it to measure my progress and couldn’t care less what others are doing, I do record times as an ebike though. Bit annoying about the live downhill sections but hey ho
Welcome, I started my emtb adventure at 50 after riding and racing motorbike a lot of my life, gotta admit on a fast downhill the buzz is as good as a motorbike in a race track. Take your time and build up slowly they are great fun ?
I like the additional speed an emtb gives me on technical trails over a normal bike, I only ride to get an adrenalin buzz and ebike plus trying 100% does that and gives me the extra speed over a normal bike and trying 100%. I’m always knackered after a ride as I put in as much effort as I can...
I don’t normally have a lot of time so for a quick hour or two out I head to Sherwood pines, there’s enough there to amuse me in the short time I have both the marked trails and off them, There’s more around that area in and around what was known as the desert locally, a bit further afield...
So riding a local red route mtb course I caught up with a guy on a normal bike, as always I wait till they acknowledge me and let me by. This didn't happen for near on a mile even though he kept looking. I eventually shouted morning mind if I pass, I got a no and some swearing and a bit about...
I use a hose only and a soft brush, after that I use a dog blower to get rid of all the water especially out of those places you can't get in. It's been the best thing I've ever bought for cleaning bikes
Look on amazon for one of these

Can only comment for me on this as a 50 year old having recently got an emtb this year. My old normal mtb sat unused.....I'd ridden and raced motorbikes for a number of years but that was coming to an end as I started measuring my fun in how much it cost...the emtb was bought not to get fit as I...
I use a Nissan Elgrand I’ve had it 4 years, can get 4 adults and 4 bikes in without front wheels on or 3 bikes with wheels on and bars turned at 90 degrees.
I'll answer this myself :)
So my older bike has the intuvia controls where you can adjust the wheel size +/- 5%.The new one has purion where you need a dealer to do it. However chatting to a dealer you can swap the controls between bikes. So with that knowledge I dropped the motor out the old...
I've got 2 bikes both with the same Bosch CX performance system. Using GPS the older original one assists upto 15.5mph, the newer one seems to stop at 13mph. The speedo on the bike is saying 15mph but the GPS isn't. I can't change wheel size on the new one as it's a purion system and I can only...
Steve, I’ll let you know when I next go up. I’m semi retired so have some spare time and usually go mid week. I’m slowly learning the ropes with riding and finding way round Pines ?
Here's a recent strava run on my bosch cx performance with a 500wh battery, riding like this I get 24miles total till I swap batteries as I carry a spare
