What is with that wacky cable routing? On paper seems nice and tidy for the cockpit...in reality it's a friggin nightmare. How do you manage the cabling if you want to switch out the bars and mount or if you simply break the bars? You will be stuck with getting stock Focus bars, if they even...
How anyone can get fatter or out of shape doing physical activity baffles me. It's kind of like saying women don't find you attractive and it's their fault...no, maybe you're just friggin ugly. But, shouldn't physical exercise help you no matter what you are doing? Blaming an e-bike for you...
That's odd...I have tuned my EP8's via their app and in no way does the Bosch destroy the EP8. I easily enjoy my EP8 bikes every bit as my Bosch bikes. I will say the stock factory settings on the EP8 are not great compared to the Bosch. But once tuned, to me it's basically a horse a piece...
I have 2 bikes with the CX motor and 3 with the EP8. Once I dialed in the EP8 motors with the Shimano app, I REALLY like the motor. The Bosch is a frigging incredible motor also. EMTB mode is what I use 99.99% of the time on my Bosch motored bikes. You can't go wrong with either one. Just make...
Now that they finally corrected things, I'd have a forgive a forget mentality with Canyon as well...I'd forgive their error then forget they ever existed.
I would send them an email thanking them and then include a link to this website and thread. They can see first hand what people who actually buy emtb's think of their company...good, bad or other.
Once I bought my first emtb (Trek Rail 9.7), regular mountain bikes didn't even exist to me any longer. Turn down the assist mode to eco, ride farther or longer and simply keep riding. The emtb is not your problem...it's most likely a lack of seat time. And emtb's can give you all the seat time...
I have a Husky with the 5000 display and 2 bikes with the 8000. It wb nice if I could swap the 8000 off one bike to put it on my Husky with the 5000 display. I don't think it'll work though.
Do people actually ride mtb's for fitness? Is this even a thing??? I'm not talking about some boring railroad grade type of riding to admire the friggin woodpeckers and barn swallows, but actually ride in the woods etc to get fit? Seems like an insane thing to even think about. I do it 100% for...
First off...get rid of the oil slick pedals. I for the life of me don't understand the appeal of oil slick anything. Plus the oil slick makes them slippery. Get a pair of cement PNW grips and pedals, change up the Fox fork sticker to orange, blue or yellow. Leave the seat alone...black seats...
I ended up getting a Norco BF VLT1 a couple weeks ago. Haibike used to be a great company here in the States. My buddy had fat full suspension emtb several years ago and it was a great bike. Now, nothing. Odd.
What bar clamp are you running? I just got the same bike 2 weeks ago. I swapped the risers around, but the bar still seems low. Plan on a 30-40mm riser bar. But if I can just swap the bar clamp, that may be an option.
Hey Canyon...I hope you're reading this garbage you worthless pricks. All the guy was trying to do was buy one of your bikes. He ended up with a pile of shit and endless problems. GUESS WHAT BIKE BRAND I WILL NEVER BUY?? That's right...a pile of problems called Canyon. You should rename your...
I need to bleed my MT7's. I have the kit but don't have the Magura Royal blood oil. I know RB is just mineral oil without any additives I think. I simply want to be certain just using regular mineral oil (not RB) will not damage the brake system in any way.
I have the same bike. Picked her up a couple weeks ago. Have you done any changes to the power via e-tube yet? I am running mine on boost 90% of the time due to the rolling resistance of the wide tires. I would actually consider going to a 4" tire. The 4.5" tires are friggin huge. I haven't had...
