I have the HC7. These are such great bikes...congrats!! I love the HC9, such a great build for the money. I tried like a dog to get an HC9, but couldn't find one. Tried several Husky dealers and even found one at a Husky dealer in Minnesota. Dealing with that clown was positively friggin...
Yes, those are full fat...with extra thickness. Some people on this site think 45lbs for a fully suspended 625/85nm bike is heavy. So, you ride some real pigs.
I have spoken to a few guys on the trails that bought the lightweight bikes. Not one said they liked it better than their full power bikes. One of the guys and I actually switched bikes for a bout 20 minutes. He rode my Husky HC7 and I rode his Specialized whatever the hell it was. I couldn't...
Nice system. I have heard that it is not good to store a bike inverted for any length of time. Not good for the suspension seals (can can cause leaks etc.)....anyone have an opinion on this? I'd like to store mine similarly, just don't want problems.
Bobo's vids rule. At least a couple times a year when I'm riding and I stop to talk to someone on the trail, they turn out to be real dickholes about emtbs. I just kind of laugh and proceed to gap them.
I have 2 bikes with the EP8. I can say that I have never experienced this rattle everyone talks about. Mine seem buttery smooth and quiet. My hearing isn't the best so maybe that helps.
I have a couple Proframe's and they are very comfortable, but like the idea of the adjustment on the new RS model. One thing about Fox...they are pricey, but when you buy their stuff, you know where you spent your money. I have never bought a product in either moto or mtb that I wasn't...
Is there anywhere in the US to actually buy a Haibike FullFat 6 10.0 emtb? I can't even find a US dealer and tried Haibike's website. Any help is appreciated.
Can you ride it in the rain? Absolutely. Is it waterproof? To some degree. Don't submerge it in water and leave it out in the rain overnight, but as far as washing and riding, it is water resistant.
Go riding or watch a bunch of over paid candy asses play team sports? Yeah...that's a really complicated decision. Kind of like being undecided to have sex with a smokin hot babe or smashing yourself in the face with a brick. W...T...F???
I've been using the same shoes for years for MTB riding and they aren't MTB shoes at all. Shift Fuel motorcycle boots. They are no longer made however. I have another pair of motorcycle shoes (boots really) when the Fuels finally give up the ghost. These are basically high top, high quality...
I did not read every post. It was my initial impression this was done to save weight as well as get rid of the annoying lock. I apologize to all the good folk out there.
Anyone removing a battery lock mech to save 360 grams of weight is friggin looney tunes. You are saving 360 paper clips worth of weight. Better off shaving and taking a dump before you ride. The things people do to save this kind of weight is mind boggling. What exactly is the benefit of this...
