Besides what Maastricht pointed out about comparability with blevo, the bv6000 has a bigger, longer lasting battery, brighter screen, is way more rugged and has superior GPS connection. (Russian pangloss satellite system also) the downside is that android is garbage compared to iOS so, there's...
ok - i guess more what i meant to ask or discuss was, when running tubless, a body still needs to carry a tube in case of a flat ya? but since plus size tubes are so big / heavy / expensive, do people carry smaller flimsier tubes with them, since they’re really only to avoid being stranded? if...
with regards to safety: you cannot really repair a flat when tubeless ya? so i’ve been riding with one of the big-assed tubes that came inside the 3” purgatorys that came on my levo. it’s freakin’ huge! i’m only carrying it so a flat is less likely to spoil a ride. but, since it wouldn’t be for...
i like my hillbilly 2.6 front a lot.
the 2.8 butcher on the rear is disappointing however. i would not recommend it in the wet. for being a very open design, with not very tall knobs, it seems to hold a lot of mud too. i do like the way the bike is rolling over onto its edge into corners and...
aloha Maastricht! i am working on my blevo / bv6000 setup. i’ve imported a few .gpx files from previous rides now, so i’m starting to see how that works. last night i figured out why i couldn’t download tiles of the map for offline use. i was zoomed too far out. as i zoomed in and the button...
i’m stoked! i got my upgrade completed. my 2017 levo now has the handlebar switch - so i can change levels of assist while riding and i have walk mode. my lbs did it for me - total cost = 180$. switch is 120$ from specialized. 50$ for labor. did not require a firmware upgrade. im already on .23...
get cheaper bike with a powerful, rebuildable bafang motor. can even get a throttle. if u get $7k levo, save it for the trails. i thought i might use mine for utilitarian stuff but its a frikkin racebike. i put it in the van to go to the park and only ride it in full gear.

a more precise and robust shifting system that is not constantly requiring adjustment. it should only need to be adjusted as the chain lengthens or parts actually wear.
improved waterproofing / washability
a bike that comes with...
I am new to this problem. I must have bashed mine a couple of weeks ago. Now, I come out of adjustment in the middle gears after only 2-3 rides. LBS just serviced and I’m hoping to be back to normal, but thanks for the info. I’m going to pick up a spare and make sure I can install on the trail...
rrp standard on front is plenty to keep vision and face clear. i’ve gotten in a few high speed rides with it and it works.
the mudhugger on the rear does keep mud off the seat and your ass, and my back stayed dry. but, my jersey was too trashed to wear in the car. shorts were ok! shoes, legs...
