i know i’m not very digital, but i cannot figure out how to bring up the english subtitles on paolo’s youtube vids. i can only get italian subtitles. any suggestions? have you guys been able to do this?
i dont use my levo around town, but i have it in my van... to the store, to the lbs, at work, stop for a beer. but, i use a heavy, moto weight chain and expensive u-lock to lock it inside. even if i’m out of the van to only run back into the house. also, i pay 40$ a month for insurance from...
bad as hell! that is the best looking bike i’ve ever seen. thanks for posting. im quite happy with my levo, but that would have tortured me if i’d seen that when i was deciding what to buy.
kick that mutha!!!
Hi Paolo?
OpenStreetMaps looks great! Blevo will navigate (show my location with a blue dot) on an offline map when I’m out of cell range? I’m using bv6000. Grazi!
microfleece beanie as a helmet liner (thank you mips), and my old fox launch knee / shin guards keep my legs plenty toasty? seriously though, how do you keep your feet warm? seems impossible.?♂️ -
True! The undeniable dark side of strata / KOM stats... I wonder if some of our larger advocacy groups could convince strava to remove KOM and competitive boards for dirt descents? Could be managed with a few keystrokes by the website builder.
Why so much hate and dismissal around here for folks that care about strava? It doesn’t hurt you if people want to log a fast time. Just one more fun thing about bicycles in the digital age. (kinda like e-bikes ya?)
also Mark H - I know what you mean about having to view it as a normal ride...
2017 levo expert - 30 cycles 1100 kms 95% health - i am bad about running down to zero, charging it to 100% letting it sit for a week. also, i’ve let it sit drained for a couple days. i need to improve my battery care! bike is performing flawlessly. got it june 2018
i find that it is important to other riders that i tell them i have a battery if i am overtaking them on a climb or rolling flats. they are usually grateful to know they’re not just going slow. and, a few times when i haven’t announced the disclaimer, i’ve gotten a resentful, snarky tone...
one other point i make to friends / strangers / hecklers (they all judge) well, one point i make when i can, is to show them or talk about the cardio data from my polar and my fitbit. no one can argue i’m not pumping hard when you see the heart rate numbers i put up. there’s a pretty good size...
brother, that’s my story exactly! i live in the sf bay area. die hard moto head, but have always had bicycles too. the trails around here are straight up or straight down. unassisted, i would only get one or two descents, which are the whole point?! and, like you said, a lot of having access is...
I am just learning about offline maps and .gpx files for navigating with no cellular connection. Can you navigate with gaia or another app and be using BLevo to manage the bike at the same time?
Merry Christmass ccrdave - I am curious about this set up. My other turbo levo is a motorcycle so I like the way that mirrors a dirt bike set up. Was that where you got the idea? I've got a 2.6 hillbilly up front and a butcher 2.8 on the rear. It feels like the hillbilly is narrow and really...
so... I'm going to guess here. If my battery firmware is listed in the MC app as 2.23.1 - the first number is the version of the actual battery. 2016 would be 1, 2017 would be 2, 2018 would be 3 and 2019 would be 4? then the firmware version which means mine would be 23.1 ya?
ok, ok, now i see! the .22 and .23 discussion was all about this. i am starting to catch on... so mine must have been updated from .22 or earlier to the dreaded .23 - an improvement on MC but some unpopular changes for skilled BLEvo users. sorry to waste your time pablo?
