What do you guys use ? I hate having to carry a big heavy lock around but with the cost of the levo you have to lock it !

I wish with the electronics , it could be made to lock out so could not be pedalled with the app , like a onboard security but hey .

Couldn't they just pick it up and cart it away?

I'm using a cheap combination cable on my bike BUT I will only to run into the corner store for a water or other quick action. Only trying to stop the opportunist. IMHO, a prepared thief will have your bike in seconds no matter what you use.

I've left my Levo overnight about 5 times in many places like train stations and in Birmingham outside (only choice) and yes, it's risky as fock! I use two d locks with two cables.

For short trips, even into a shop or town, I take a dlock and cable in my backpack and have them tight to my back so the weight isn't noticeable.

i dont use my levo around town, but i have it in my van... to the store, to the lbs, at work, stop for a beer. but, i use a heavy, moto weight chain and expensive u-lock to lock it inside. even if i’m out of the van to only run back into the house. also, i pay 40$ a month for insurance from velo. that shits cost $6k! my van is worth 1500? mostly, i carry it downstairs, put it in the van, go riding, come home, carry it back upstairs and keep it close and safe... i love it so much!

I'm gonna insure mine next month like you say they're not cheap!

I keep mine downstairs under the stairs with an anchor and chain because I have a motorbike too :)

I would rather drive over my bike with a steam roller than let some toe-rag steal it.

I would nail their testicles to the saddle and send them down a very rough trail, with the rebound set to fast and the tyres pumped up hard!:devilish:

My fried had a collection of custom rare built up bikes stolen 2 years ago. Some gypsies used a winch to remove the roof from his garage and hoisted them out. Bastards.

My idea of torture to them would be to simply pop them at the top of a huge descent say, on the alps. Firstly staple both hands and ballsack to the bike and then install stabilisers to prevent them bailing. Push them on their way and sip a beer as they speed up to inevitable doom
