ok... so the saga continues: i'm not trying to be paranoid, but i was trying to avoid mc registering the fact that my wheel size had been changed, but as you can see... it's listed as 1015mm. now, after getting mc working better and doing the factory reset on mc, the wheel size is up to 2300mm...
ok, so the new mc app looks pretty bad. i think it is dumbed down even more than the previous version. before installing mc i changed the settings in blevo to ‘specy default’ - perfecto! funny part was that my wheel circumference was in inches, but no prob. then i disconnected blevo and turned...
aloha fellow BLEvo’ers! i am taking my bike in for service soon. i want to take the precaution of restoring my factory settings. should i use mission control? is there a manual reset? it’s a 2017 levo. any help would be great. i have read this entire thread, and i remember it being discussed...
also - regarding the bv6000 or an android device for BLEvo:
the biggest downside is that it is an android device. everything on my iPhone works better. it's kind of a project trying to get an android device to work and do basic things. for instance, it takes a long time to reboot through a...
also, i figured it’s good to have a safety, so i bought these silicone bands to double secure the bv6000s to the mount. they work pretty well. not perfect, but may save it if the gun comes loose... they stretch over the corners.
any suggestions on the best way to restore factory settings on a 2017 levo before taking the bike in for service? should i use mission control? or is there a manual reset i can do?
i’m doing the same. i got the gub mount and the bv6000s. it’s working great and i can keep my precious iphone off my bars! i use a polar chest strap and it syncs just like it should. also, polar beat app uploads rides to strava very well. and the cardio data is excellent. and it gives good...
hey! trailforks is good for finding trails for sure. but the app for coaching technique is called trail tips or trail tips ca. - i havent seen it but it’s intended to be used on the trail, for when you are actually encountering challenges. sounds perfect for what you’re seeking.
i know there’s a free app that will tell you the proper form for all kinds of trail / park situations. that’s something you could start with right away! have fun and take your time. one crash could take you off your bike for a year.
huh. i haven’t watched the video, but riding at a lower cadence used less battery? yeah, that’s the opposite of what i would expect. i think of a slow cadence as almost leaning on the motor... this is strange!
2017 levo 1500kms / 40 charges so far. My charger gets really hot. Like, almost too hot to touch. This is whether I am charging back up from fully drained or from 50%. It doesn't get hot topping off - like from 90-100%. Battery doesn't feel hot, or cord. It is plugged into a power strip. How hot...
Look at you with room for a tube, levers and a pump and can still fit the water bottle! I cut the top off my water bottle and folded the tube up into it. Maybe I can do better?
and this is the function i am most interested in too! i’ve been selecting different maps, fooling around with OSM, downloading .gsx files from trailforks and strava. but i haven’t made much progress. yesterday on the trail, my map showed where i was and where i’d been, but the background was...
weather has been terrible here in cali. will have some feedback for you after this weekend for sure.
i got my display arranged nicely. will sync my polar chest strap today.
i’ve used the street map to see where i am, but will try to nav on trails tomorrow? thanks paolo!
I got the standard RRP front and it’s real nice. easy on, good fit, good clearance. worth the extra effort of finding and shipping time from UK. Its on a 2017 levo with a Pike and 2.6 hillbilly. Couple wet rides. Works great, stays in place, doesnt make noise. ?
