Depending on the slope and grip available, I sometimes find it helps to set off with the seat fully down but lean forward.
Then as soon as you get a little momentum put the seat back up👍
I had both. At first it would turn itself off but would also let me turn it straight back on.
It then became worse and I had the Orange lights and it wouldn’t turn on for ages.
No error codes ever showed though.
I had a few problems with mine cutting out, low power etc. The shop fixed it, said there was a few cables loose etc but nothing obvious. It seemed to fix it but I went out today and it briefly cut out for a couple of seconds on a climb, I’ll have to keep an eye on it .
I ended up buying the short sleeved Tld.
I haven’t rode in it yet but it feels great, very happy with it. Was between sizes with a 43” chest, went xl and it’s spot on.
Now to to read up on armoured shorts😀
I’ve just mulletted my Rsx too, so I’ll see if that makes any difference. Though if you believe the figures on the Whyte site, the mullet bikes have a higher bb than the 29😀
