    Talk to me about Mullets

If you went for the 160RSX you could have the best of both worlds re Mullet, it works very well as 29er or mullet, and Whyte supplying the various 160’s in both configurations. I know the 180Rsx is mullet but not sure if they do a 29 version. Don’t think you’d dislike any other them though to...

    Talk to me about Mullets

Disagree with Mikerb here. I had an E160RSX, the same as you Mike and mulleted it using the proper Whyte aftermarket link. This keep the geo the same when fitting the 27.5 rear. It makes a big difference to the way the bike rides, not saying it’s faster or slower but the bike definitely...

    Bike repair stands

I have the pcs 10.3. I’ve had a couple of Whyte ebikes, a Trek Rail and a Mondraker Crafty in it with no problem. One of the Whytes was about 26kg and it was fine clamped in the dropper, really rate it. I’ve had it a couple of years but when I first bought it the jaws were too large to clamp...

    Derestricting bosch smart system

I’m definitely not promoting them, I don’t actually run one myself but ive rode with 2 people who have them and they work fine, I’ve even rode one of the bikes and can confirm it worked. I think if you buy a chip I think you would just have to accept that one day it might not work?

At least 2 of my riding group run the speed box in the smart system, they kept failing at first but now seem to be working fine.

Sold Ohlins TTx22m Coil Shock 230x60 Trek Rail

Ohlins TTX 22M Coil shock. I bought this from TFtuned at the end of 2020 as they recommended it for my Trek Rail, it starts as a 230x57.5 but they modded it to a 230x60 as they said it would be better on the Rail. Comes with an Ohlins lightweight spring 548lb with 67mm stroke. They also supplied...

New idea from Muc-Off for hiding an Air Tag!

I’ve got an airbag stashed on my van, followed a YouTube vid to disable the speaker and it works a treat. Even if someone knew there was one I doubt they would find it, I dropped it down one of the support struts on the body.

Trek rail rear shock upgrade ideas please

I ran an Ohlins coil for ages and also tried a super deluxe ultimate air. Both were great, I was actually quicker on the air but preferred the feel of the coil. I was very surprised how good the super deluxe ultimate was, even compared to the Ohlins.
