I have owned this from new, it was originally red and black but it had a complete...
I struggled for ages to get my Zeb something like, was either harsh or spongy, cured it by fitting a Luftkappe and running a lot less sag. Made it super plush but still supportive.
I've done the battery lock delete on my Rail so now the battery is bolted in solid, the bike still rattles. I think its the Bosch rattle combined with the carbon frame.
By contrast, sound wise my Whyte feels like a Rolls Royce over the same trails.
I wouldn’t be able to sort it before next weekend I’m afraid.
I’d be tempted to buy the 22m.2 anyway if I was you, would be nice to easily experiment with the different stroke lengths.
Haven’t rode as much as I’d like but managed 22 miles, about 2800 feet with 52% left.
I’m wondering how the last couple of bars last, on my 625 Trek it takes ages to use the first 2 bars then drops quicker, the 750 seems to drop the first bar quick but not experienced a long enough ride to...
Ohlins must be stronger than some other shocks too, I remember when I had a 2020 Levo, they snapped the shafts in some shocks, Fox actually said not use their coil in the Levo. The Ohlins were fine.
What size shock is on the 750 Rail?
The best thing about the Ohlins is that even though there are fewer adjustments compared to some oher shocks, they all work.
Seems almost impossible to set it up badly.
Mine turned out to be the battery wasn’t clicked in properly. When the shop did the handover they insisted on showing me how the battery came out but they mustn’t have clicked it in properly.
