gotcha, I tried 170mm but felt too slacked out as well.. 160 seems perfect but I ride all kinds of trails so it’s been working well for me.
what about buying a mullet rear triangle from yt? Think you just need rear triangle, shock and a wheel and you have a mullet. maybe They would give you...
not a short reach at all
if you go by the numbers. but i hear you it’s the seat angle that makes it feel smaller, it’s great downhil and tech climbs! i would go higher ride bar and bump fork to 160mm keep stem same and slam saddle back in rails. see if those things help, they helped me.
bump your fork up to 160/170 i’m running 160 with coil conversion and a bomber cr coil rear. bike is the bomb imo. i can see if you were only riding super gnar the mullet might be better.. how
much better? idk.
dudes post is 10 months old.. i’m guessing he made his decision already. you can get higher rise handle bars to fix your problem, you just have to spend some time dialing in your cockpit, could
also try a slightly longer stem. the reason it feels small is the steep seat tube angle, you will get...
Spring is only to get you in correct position in the travel, With minimal preload. After this then would be better to get it valved for your weight and conditions. I have a bomber on order but they are back ordered for 3 weeks. I got it because it’s supposed to be the best coil to have tuned...
that sounds right.. I’ve never killed a battery on last climb so typically my rides are about 3200-4000 then pedal home or to my truck. Could probably get close to that 4800-5000 foot level.
tech climbs are the so fun on ebikes I tend to search out stuff that wouldn’t be possible on normal...
I rode with my daughter the other day on a flat path, we did 10 miles, and my bike was completely off.. on flat ground once you get it rolling it’s easy to pedal without any assist.
Seems to me better to think of it in feet climbed rather than miles. Mileage varies for me but I can get right around 4K feet of elevation, plus or minus depending on settings, how much steep tech I try and climb etc
I have all my modes set to high, rarely use boost. I had them set at different...
just dropped a Smashpot - Fork Coil Conversion System in my yari, so far it’s amazing. Tried running it at 170mm but made decoy 29 too slack for my liking. Dropped to 160mm which seems to be the sweet spot.
cool thing with this conversion is you can set travel internally from 150-180 so you can...
people buy an online only brand bike and save Bunch of money and get better components: YT is incredible!!!
same people have to send in bike for repair because it’s online only : YT sucks!!!
That captive nut is same type That Santa Cruz uses on their linkage..
not sure which torx in alloy bolt you are describing?
Anyway, no sympathies Necessary! Im all good brohammer!:)
I just want people to substantiate their claims.. what does really bad bolts for pivots mean? They look like bolts to me.. nothing out of the ordinary.
Or the guys brother, uncle, cousin who broke 3 frames.. you broke 3 frames! Of course they stopped taking your calls.. You can’t just break an...
Sorry haters in this t
wow cool story bro sounds super legit.. gtfoh
lol people in this thread.. pictures or it didn’t happen... I don’t believe any of this!
Wonder if this is more a uk problem? Here in California I call yt and someone answers on the first or second ring and I’m talking to a human.. nothing but good luck yet.
maybe I’m wrong but seems like most people with issues are in uk... maybe they don’t have uk support sorted yet?
have any pictures of the cracked frames? Was sending it off. Buildings? Is he a large mammal?
Seems a bit odd.. you would be hearing about frames breaking left and right If they were that bad..
just buy a proper bike bag and ship to yt.. you bought an online sales only bike, suck it up and ship it back to them. It sucks but it is what it is... get on with it and before you know it you will have your bike back. They work great, I have one myself!:).
ship it out, do some cross...
