Curious if anyone has had a similar issue? Only happens on steep tech climbs when in boost.. motor will beep and cut out. was thinking it might be a sensor error or overheating? It's not happening that much but the last 3 rides happened at least once.. always in super awkward situations which is...
Sounds complicated and expensive.. if you buy EU battery you are already paying euro vs dollar so you pay more plus VAT plus whatever the freight would charge. But thanks of the idea! I guess if I was desperate then that would be way too go.
Right now my battery is working but not getting the...
Just bummed because its a great bike but support for people I know has gone from great to abysmal... Something to be aware of when buying an ebike from YT USA... strangely most of the complaints used to be from UK people but maybe they have that side of the pond sorted?
IDK hard to cry supply...
Used to be a big fan of YT, I have a decoy but will not be buying another bike from them. In the USA Batteries have not been available for almost 2 years! plus as most know, they never came out with 700wh battery like they promised.
They blame it on supply chain, which I believed initially but...
I leave it in cold shed.. connected to charger all the time… 2 years working fine… people worry about bike batteries like they are special, I treat it the same way I treat my mikita power tools batteries or my iPhone battery etc.. this thread is scary, it’s like a mental health check;}
not to say it will happen but covid started in 2019 so... there is a chance.. id say since they kept same config for new iterations that 700 is still in play.
a little off topic but... at least on e8000 trail mode set to high is almost equal to boost when in high enough cadence.. I still switch to boost here and there, my point was I used to use eco to "save" battery and I just don't see that much difference in you are only using it for downhill, for...
I have yt decoy e8000 and I gave up on modes.. I just keep it in trail, I don't notice any difference in range if i use eco on flats etc, obviously if you ride in eco everywhere it will make a difference but I found leaving it in trail and rarely using boost or eco is as efficient as cycling...
Emtb (autocorrect changed this to meth initially which is even better for weight loss:) are actually better for loosing weight as they keep you in the lower fat burning zone.
check out this vid and read comments, jkw talks about it.
I've found this anecdotally myself as well. And I think...
One thing to know about fox pads and D30 is the they become soft and pliable when they heat up, so as you ride they conform and get more comfortable. When cold they are bulky and weird, once warm they disappear.
people of color, ie non white.. then there's bipoc black and indigenous people of color.
just newish PC language updates.. not many use it in real life.
they are all sized small that why I sized up, otherwise it's arm pump central.
To get around slippage I wear a snug fitting jersey over elbow pads.. keeps them in place good.
IMO the armor jacket are all to hot to wear even riding dirt bikes and I find them totally useless.
the reason to...
I recommend the fox enduro D30they are light weight but these are first elbow pads ive ever owned that dont give my arm pump. Ive tried a lot over the years.
i probably should be a medium based on sizing but went large to avoid arm pump.
i mostly wear them on the moto but will wear them in...
I forgot to mention the biggest battery suck for me is starting and stopping.. especially on technical up hills! That initial burst of energy really taxes the battery.
