Yep I'll second that, it's a great trail bike but even though numbers are slack I found it very twitchy in gnar. Mullet with super short stay has a lot to do with this.
I'm running flip chips slack/low with minus headset and a 170 zeb.. feels great now and corners better than my outgoing yt...
Alloy comp, carbon totally unnecessary on ebike. Stock suspension is actually pretty damn good.. was surprised how good fox rhythm is.. the float x as well.
go ride it for at least 200 miles before upgrading things.. see what you need and establish baseline. If you start changing travel and...
Sold out in minutes.. I told a friend about it.. 10 minutes later sold out!.. he missed it too.. yeah Yt is a shit compan, I sold mine because of this.
Spend your money elsewhere.. yt does not stand behind its products.. batteries are basically permanently out of stock unless you get "lucky" refreshing website every day.
Total failure on yt.. wouldn't be surprised if they go belly up soon.... industry is collapsing.
You could try a 3.0 dhf front tire, run it at like 18lbs.. should give you lots of forgiveness..

you might dig it for xc trails in your conditions..
Ebike specific drivetrains are coming but being you are a large mammal and you ride in the mud there's not much you can do.
Mud and wet kill drivetrains fast!
There a a lot of uk specific ebike issues I've noticed on this forum that we don't see as much in California. I try to not ride when...
Sounds like you waited too long for bearing service... yeah been there! I'd take it to a pro before you go any further.. let someone else stress over it.
Just have feel for it, it’s all pretty minimal torque on bikes.. some times I’ll break one out.. never for seatposts or stuff like that. You are better off not using one vs using cheap torque wrench anyway, cheap ones are likely off. They can help of you are hamfisted
It's hard to say without knowing your terrain and how fast you ride.
But if it's high speed chatter, rocky or hard packed dirt, there's really nothing you can do for that.. riding slower stuff you can get it really plush. I've been searching for the elusive small bump sensitivity for years.. I...
Jimmy Lewis raves about them on his ebike.. I didn't like them on my dirt bike... but love the mako 360! Check out the hammerhead 360 stem.. cool thing with the xcgear stuff is you can run any bar you want.. downside is $$ but mako 360 has been invaluable to me
On my yz250x
Looking at the photo you probably leaned your bike or dropped it without knowing.. bent that tooth slightly... chain bent it back straight and it broke.. aluminum only bends once.
Setting low sag with make it worse.. you need to go other direction... if you ride with fork low in travel it will be more harsh. It's try a heavier casing tire and lower pressure, perhaps an insert would help.
Also, I've been riding for long long time... you will never fine the plushness you...
Chain stretch is a flawed metric for recreational riders, only needed for serious racers or super anal ocd people:) you can run a "stretched" chain with no ill consequences for a long long time... I never check them.. just replace once a year, sometimes less ymmv... just my opinion!:)
Don't waste your breath on a forum.. get a warranty started with sram, they will replace it. No need to waste your time talking about it:) edit: there you go..
