Well not exactly...you might want to look up in that picture where it points out it's strong point:
Stark: Zieht bei hohen kadenzen voll durch. It means that at high cadences it pulls really hard.
To an untrained eye that says nothing, but to me it tells that they worked on the torque/cadence...
BTW did anyone read the Amflow's Limited Warranty section...the following part is quite interesting...while some stuff is pretty common, some is questionable 🤔
Free Warranty Repair Service will not be provided in any of the following circumstances:
Collision or fire damage caused by...
In a podcast(can most probably still be found on yt) with the owner of Crestline, he mentioned the possibility of Bosch doing that sooner or later...
If there is talk, there is some bit of truth behind it. Also from a marketing and business perspective that's the only sensible thing to do for...
I didn't expect most people to understand, but it was a try to give at least some insight...as written it's not as simple as a number on paper, really. Good points, would probably be the only real measurement that would bring all vehicles to the same final level, but that will probably never...
Who said I changed everything, I changed only the things that were lacking(only brake rotors). All other things broke and needed replacement. I am saying there is also lot more hassle with an ebike when u need to service it than an average Joe is capable of, also a am not babying my emtb...so...
Amflow first needs to prove itself IRL usage in all conditions. As It's a trail bike I am pretty sure people will want to overfork it to 170+ mm with a beafier 38mm fork, as a 36 is a bit lackluster on an emtb unless you buy it for cross country. A bigger fork will cause the back end with the...
Yep, the pricing is crazy on what the specs offer...it is and will probably go out trough the industry. I don't understand why Bosch made different sized(thickness) 600 and 800Wh batteries, I guess it's cost reduction and extra income with additional sales. I mean a downtube can easier...
DJI - lacking geo and spec for enduro, no local support, not yet trail tested irl,...
CUBE - Suspension design not really my thing, internal headset cable routing, the geo is good and all else is good
TREK - the geo jumps between sizes are to big, fall right in between, otherwise the bike...
If manufacturers would include graphic presentation like this, that would be the best...here you can see a clear relationship between torque, power and cadence. Looking forward for first lab tests of the Avinox. That will tell the real picture how the motor behaves.
Orange lines is torque...
As already written twice, I would not write all the above if the conditions and factors of both rides wouldn't be comparable, also I said we shouldn't jump to conclusions as of yet...so... 》
My way of measuring consumption is 》Wh/altitude gain《 IMO the only realistic measure of efficiency...
Hey Steve, I take range talk pretty seriously and know the variables that affect it pretty good, I wouldn't write all above if the variables wouldn't be comparable and here they are.
That's why the Wh/altitude gain comparison, as all else(two bars, three bars, km, etc...) is completely useless...
The package overall is quite good if you're looking for a trail ebike, for enduro or serious stuff it's lacking a bit...
The one big down IMO is the lack of local support in the case of issues, I think anyone that had issues(electrical part of it) with an ebike, knows the struggles when the...
Can't argue with the sleek look, but the buttons should give a little more support/feedback. The bigger issue I have with the controller is the functionality and response.
Why can we turn on the lights(that we don't have) with it, but can't turn off/on the whole system, because it's kinda...
Maybe I'm wrong but Isn't it quite a normal release process for Specialized to 1st release the Top spec versions with the lower ones following later, I think that's how they usually did it?
Actually it's quite understandable when you look at the big picture, the top spec bikes are normally not...
I tried this, and it works for me:
I am 178cm and ride a 770mm bar width ,their formula gives you your maximum bar width, so you can go narrower(usually most do for relaxed riding).
I just did a reverse calculation(bar width/height) for the guy that runs 760mm bars, as he is near my height...
I was talking about crazy new motor torque claims , one of them being Djis avinox with 110Nm.
These kind of numbers are only available in a short cadence window which is mostly unusable when climbing, because the torque drops significantly in higher cadence ranges.
I am exited on what could be...
The one and only interesting fact they threw out is focus on cadence-torque relationship, which is imo the most important thing when choosing a motor.
If you have a broad cadence window(30rpm up to 90rpm) where the torque drop isn't significant or is relatively flat drop then that's way better...
