Yeah, I am also quite surprised on most bikes, the weight specs are quite high despite the lower weights of the new components...
I have never owned a carbon bike, but the orbea wild is the only one I would make the stretch for just because the bike is much lighter in carbon (at least 1.5kg) and possibly better built (previous gen alu models were not reliable). If I had to buy new emtb form these now, and If I had 8500€ it would go to aluminium Wild H10 with 750 battery. More unlimited budget Crestline. Trek Rail+ looks really nice but because of the 40mm gap on reach on M and L it wouldn't be possible.
Has there been a pivot LT with bosch release/leak? In europe at least Pivots don't really start under 8 or 9k, so orbea has multiple cheaper bikes, but with not so good components. And Pivots don't really go on sale, whereas Orbeas are currently 20-30% off for 2023 and some 2024 models!Orbea is alot more expensive than pivot shuttle LT. I have to pass on it
There is no leak on pivot 2025 ebike yetI have never owned a carbon bike, but the orbea wild is the only one I would make the stretch for just because the bike is much lighter in carbon (at least 1.5kg) and possibly better built (previous gen alu models were not reliable).

I was close to buy a Pivot LT because it was on sale and had Shimano, but it was EP800 instead of 801 and it was full 29” so I went for Bullit…and Bullit was even cheaper. Bullit is better than any of these new Bosch bikes so no reason to changeI have never owned a carbon bike, but the orbea wild is the only one I would make the stretch for just because the bike is much lighter in carbon (at least 1.5kg) and possibly better built (previous gen alu models were not reliable).

ConfirmedThere is no leak on pivot 2025 ebike yet
So currently there isn't any new Bosch emtb out at the moment that would fit into my box.
Yep, the pricing is crazy on what the specs offer...it is and will probably go out trough the industry. I don't understand why Bosch made different sized(thickness) 600 and 800Wh batteries, I guess it's cost reduction and extra income with additional sales. I mean a downtube can easier accommodate a shorter 600Wh or a longer 800Wh, but as they did it, you now need a thicker downtube for the 800Wh, which at the moment limits the choices for everyone(manufacturers, buyers,...).This is the issue I came to. Even if I could accept the 600w battery, I couldn’t get past the SC pricing/spec - £6.5k for base zebs and NX is just a joke.
I considered a Levo for a while, decent power delivery, ride well, but 3yo design?
What is confirmed ?Confirmed
Seems like 2 different bikes, one 150/160 and the other will probably be 170/170.I'm going to wait until Pivot releases the Shuttle LT with the gen 5...
...then it will be between the Santa Cruz and Pivot.
New Shuttle L/T will be powered by Bosch Gen 5. Will have Mullet and coil options. What is confirmed ?
3/8" of travel doesn't make it a different bike...Seems like 2 different bikes, one 150/160 and the other will probably be 170/170.
