A ride out of Westgate in Upper Weardale today with @The EMF ..
We've done this ride at least once a year for the last three years but usually in winter months so it was a pleasure to ride it with the sun shining ..
It's a tough ride from the off almost vertical but as it's on tarmac it doesn't...
You probably could get them repaired Lancashire Sports Repair in Burnley springs to mind ..depends on cost and wether it's worth doing versus a new pair ..
A little 14 miler (approx ..as the mapping app turned itself off ) ..didn't want to do too much as there is a biggish ride planned for tomorrow with @The EMF ..if his shoulder injury is up to it from his "off" in N.Yorks yesterday ..
The Sidwood area of Kielder Forest is where I started my ride...
C'mon Zimms ..
All of the above ..but you should know by now that I like to throw the occasional contentious comment out there to see if it gets a bite ..😉
Must have been using the wrong bait 😁
Sorry 😞
Three of us in our little group ride Whyte's ..Two E150rs & myself on a E160rs..the one thing we've all said is that for ff bikes they ride really "light" ...
Anyone thinking otherwise must be weak as water ..😂
While I would agree with what you've written ..and the fact that I can be in complete wilderness within a couple of miles on some great singletrack bridleway & forest tracks ..probably 95%+ of my riding involves travelling first in my car ..love a road trip as much as the ride itself ..
Not...
Kielder.North West Northumberland .
A quick solo ride taking in the Deadwater Trail ( Into The Valley & Twist & Shout x2) and Skydive on the Lonesome Pine Trail ..where I managed to save the world from an alien 👽 invasion ..
Still can't get used to all trees gone through harvesting ..although...
I've absolutely no idea..I don't do your kind of riding ..but don't understand why you want a "heavy" ebike ..so I'll refer you to my original reply further up the page ..
Lovely looking bike ..but then I also ride Whyte ..
Change of graphics on the new models ..would have gone for that colour had it been available 3.5 years ago 👌
