Your getting better weather than further up . Not a week for Torridon im thinking.Great ride in the Cheviot Hills yesterday with @The EMF ( Wayne..pictured) ..on our border raid View attachment 141834 View attachment 141835 View attachment 141836 View attachment 141837 into Scotland .
Blue skies suggest dry& dusty ground conditions ..and they were almost bone dry ..but this also disguises the fact that it was very windy & clucking ffffreezing with a hail stone shower late in the ride confirming this ..
The descents though were spectacular ..especially the last two off Black Braes & the drop to the White bridge at Slymefoot ..where 200 years ago stood a " pub" for the drovers to refresh themselves ( long gone) ..but the pint in the newly refurbished Rose & Thistle in Alwinton courtesy of my mate was very welcome a short while later..cheers

Located in Keremeos, a small village just south of Penticton. So much great riding around here. And ya, when you are back in the area you definitely have to ride Mice! I used to live in Kamloops but never rode when I lived there (snowboard at Peaks as much as I could though). Work there often still so I always bring my bike as one of my workmates from the area knows the Loops like the back of his hand. Broken my collarbone at KalPark (vernon) last year, but still love the park. I work all over the Ok area, Osoyoos to Kamloops and everywhere in between. My bike is always in my work truck and ready to ride! CheersI was in revelstoke and often went do thru the ok(rock oven, penticton/knuckleduster/code4), westbank(powers, smith), kelowna(gillard, cox, vapour), vernon trails(ss pass for yrs), the loops(mainly just the classic and sunpeaks). Im in NB now for a bit. I miss revy and having the OK on my doorstep. Crazy good there and sooo many trails and so diverse from semi arrid desert to sup tropical old growth forests and huge vert. I've never ridden naramata/3 blind mice area and that Emtb festival looks like itll be really really good.

Bringing your bike in the work truck sounds ideal. You're spoiled with riches in the OK.Located in Keremeos, a small village just south of Penticton. So much great riding around here.
