Until a big revolution in battery energy density occurs and trickles down to eMTBs, we'll continue to see at least FF and lightweight branches on the eMTB tree for the foreseeable future (i.e. it isn't going to "go all lite").
As far as which way to go, it's just a matter of knowing yourself...
Just adding on to @BAMBAMODA 's comment. With respect to the thickness, there should be no issue. I use 2mm rotors on my DHR Evos and the manual only prohibits 1.8mm rotors.
Keep in mind that the Bosch software partitions the battery capacity to maintain some reserve just for the light. Since the Oso has an integrated light, I'm sure that's in play. If you take it to a dealer, they should be able to either reduce or eliminate the battery partition.
If you're talking about color on the rotor arms or carrier, it shouldn't matter - get whatever color floats your boat.
If the color is on the braking track, run away and don't back. That's the mark of a manufacturer who has their priorities all wrong.
Bulls is your best bet. It's not inconceivable, but it's highly unlikely someone duplicated all the protocols, interfaces, and functions that Bloks used.
I need the option of an easily removable battery so I can do very long rides with more than Eco mode.
Do we have any numbers on how much weight a key locking mechanism adds over a comparable non-keyed battery mount?
I've used regular Squirt and "e-bike" Squirt. The e-bike version is quite thick and can really gunk up your pulleys if you don't scrape it off.
In general I mostly use White Lightning and occasionally one of the Squirt versions. They work fine for me in dry SoCal conditions, but if rain and...
I have the exact same problem. I contacted Specialized Rider Care and this was their response:
"Unfortunately, the TCU can only send out certain data via ANT+/Bluetooth. I apologize for the inconvenience."
I replied that the TCU is in fact putting out an HR-specific ANT+ UID, just no data...
Just received notice of this:

Because if you actually have "Tour" and not "Tour+" as you claimed, the output is strictly capped at 50Nm and 140% assist. With eMTB and Turbo, they go up to 85Nm and 340% assist.
The information is a little harder to find on the Bosch web site than it used to be, but the numbers are still...
Both Tour and Tour+ provide noticeably less power than eMTB, even when you restrict eMTB mode to max out at 75Nm. If your Rail has a Kiox, set up the "Power Contribution" screen and go for two rides: one in Tour mode (take a photo of the screen and reset your ride) then another in eMTB mode...
Yeah, I returned it after that one weekend trying it out. Wasn't comfortable with the front end, and that's fatal given that the whole thing is so proprietary - it's not like I can experiment with different stem/handlebar combinations. When I spoke to the Canyon rep on the phone, he thought that...
