Levo Gen 3 HR monitor from the bike not reporting any value in Garmin computer

I have a strange problem with my HR monitor.
I have a Levo Gen3 with the new TCU, a Garmin Epix2 watch and a Garmin Edge 1040 solar computer.

What I do is:
- Export the HR sensor in the Epix to my Levo (ANT+).
- Connect my Levo to the Garmin Edge (detected as E-Bike).

This adds several sensors to the Garmin Edge unit, including cadence, speed, power, battery... and also HR.
My problem is that the HR value is not being passed to the Garmin computer. I can see the value in the Mastermind TCU, so the bike does have it.

As a workaround I am passing the HR sensor directly to the Garmin computer but that means I cannot record it in Mission Control.

Any ideas on what can be the issue?

This is better asked in the Garmin forums. Could be that the Garmin is not consuming the HR values from the Levo, but you'd need someone from Garmin to confirm.

I have the exact same problem. I contacted Specialized Rider Care and this was their response:

"Unfortunately, the TCU can only send out certain data via ANT+/Bluetooth. I apologize for the inconvenience."

I replied that the TCU is in fact putting out an HR-specific ANT+ UID, just no data. They never responded.

If the TCU is following ANT+ protocol correctly and populating the HR data field, there shouldn't be a problem consuming the data. Besides, my Garmin and Karoo 2 both manifest the problem.

@Specialized Rider Care , can you shed any light on this?

Thanks a lot, that confirms that it is just not my bike or me doing something wrong.
I will try to connect the watch with both the bike and the computer and see if both receive the data. Is the only solution I can think of.
