Now caynon have paused shipping, I dont blame them better to loose a few sales than have bikes stuck in limbo.
PC parts have gone insane this year with popular releases and demand far outstripped supply (globally). An industry insider was talking about whats going on. Their customers are...
TL:DR - ebikes are going to be more expensive from imprt duties and customs, while value of you money will be going down (in global terms) and you taxes mostly likely up.
We're all passengers now. Those in charge are determined to kept control for better or worse so you don't have a say any...
My hope hub was the sticking point, I spoke to hope (always helpful guys) to get a modern freehub I'd need to replace every part inside hub. A quick glance on-line showed out-stock (yay ?2020).
What started as lighter cranks, became a whole new group set, freehub, and effectively a new rear hub...
Chances are as with power tools, phones etc there will be a market in reconditioned or grey batteries. Its just not an industry yet as few people have hit end of battery life.
For motors I'm guess there will be a cottage industry spring up on reconditioning older motors (like the bearing guy)...
I have my fingers crossed they'll use a shimano battery.
I just don't want something consumable that's pricey (assuming 3rd party shimano clones) and in the future harder to source.
You'll probably see grey 3rd party re-manufacturer sellers popping up. Happens for old cars all the time.
Isn't there an EU thing where spares have to be kept in stock (right to repair) for a certain period of time (10years) on household items. Also there's an EU thing for allowing access to...
I'd just like to see rob narrate/voice over one of their reviews/rides. Would be plenty fun to watch his comments would be golden :ROFLMAO:
"Steve Jones was up there quicker than Charile Sheen on a bag of flour", "those tyres are sticker than Playboy mag in a truckers restroom", "It's wetter...
Lets not forget somewhere to keep the golf clubs very important for their clients.
In all seriousness the shape doesn't bother me (I love the colour) it does look like the intense. Nor does the price bother me because look at all you get for the weight that's your premium in the current market...
Disappointing to call 2 dealers one didn't know anything, the other just flat out said 'we don't do those' ?♂️
3rd one seemed to know what they were, had them on order and I put a deposit down on a E2 they said April 2021 /UK.
SLX brakes are they any good? I really loved the XT 4 pots they...
Rob I find one thing missing in your reviews (and I can see why to be honest) but I'd love to know where to buy the bikes from.
I know its a not with a 10ft pole of can of worms type subject. But often I'll see your review, go to the brands 'find a dealer' search and the results are woeful. It...
seems simple if they want to be a approved dealer for a brand then they have to accept warranty work as par the coarse. If they don't like it just be an unofficial dealer, with no official approved sales/warranty work or trade prices simple. However as mentioned who knows what agreements are in...
