I think at the time small claims didn't cover the amount I wanted. Stubborn principle kicked in, quickly the legal fees piled on then even if I wanted to drop the case I was opening myself up to counter claims on costs. It was a run away game of legal chicken.
It was a hell of a good life...
Picked a guy to build me a car, because the owner had a lot of presence (read bullshirter) on the car forum, marginally cheaper, had a modern website and closer than my other choice. Who did no advertising, website from the 80's, ironically faster to get to although further away and one lady on...
Could the pitch of the motor play a part? I read high pitch noises can trigger dogs hunting instinct. One of the reasons you have to be careful with kids and dogs and love squeaky toys.
I love dogs and wouldn't hit one if it was messing around. As above I would stop and try to command the dog...
Mixed feelings over this I'm all for a discount, but stock is a bigger factor. Already see value brands like Vitus/Decathon commonly out of stock (on all the popular bikes). Hopefully the bike brands will be on board (and stocked) before the government drops the bomb. But knowing Boris he'll...
now when you search for one and quarter inch bars do you write it as, 1 1/4" or 1.25" :sneaky:
Sorry to get you so hot and bothered after dealing with airline fittings, CNC bits and plumbing I knew it would be Imperial vs metric (always is). But why not 31.75mm bars I mean you'll have the...
You realise my point was about search engines struggling with poor nomenclature . Adding " " around a word it tells most search engines results must have this. By having a decimal point most search engines see it as 2 separate strings of text so if I wanted to find the elusive 46.1" Reach-around...
The article was tongue in cheek but I agree with the sentiment. Recently bought a disc brake adaptor for a 13 year old fork that a friend has loaned me it should have fit (according to the manufactures web site, order off the internet whom ever had it in stock) did it nope tenner down the drain...
Rumour also has it soon your GP can prescribe you cycling on the NHS if you're over weight which gives you a discount on a bike.... time to hit the pies for a discount!
but you could do that with a £6k bike too. Rumour Boris is is going to give a ebike incentive scheme (32% off) like green cars have enjoyed this march I wonder if they'll stack?
I really love that paint job, I wonder if they could do a simpler version as a limited edition?
Thats great to hear. I met Steve Peat once when he was doing a promotion in our shop back when he rode for GT and was just starting to win. They say never meet your hero's but he was a ace guy super...
I wondered if they could make Batteries/motors a stressed member item as seen in other industries. If a battery had a load bearing spine added and bolted to the frame could there be a saving on the reinforcement needed. You couldn't just unclip the battery anymore but a good trade off for a...
Regarding the weight not sure its the battery is the reason 0.55kg between the 630 and the 503 (was looking to make some quick weight savings, pocket savings not so much @£600:eek:).
In theory should the EP8 have been making bikes lighter?
Maybe the EP8 costs more and manufacturers are having...
the lowest spec one has a e7000 motor.
I was kinda hoping for the carbon front triangle and fox forks, but seriously intrested in this.
I'm guessing out of stock because sales haven't gone live yet I wonder what the wait times will be like?
rob posted something Forestal on his instagram today looks like he might have had a play with it.
Intresting they still have LTD edition pre-orders. I'm guessing alot of riders are cautious of a new company/unknown motor. I remember the eZesty I was all set to buy one from the marketing, but in...
Sadly there's plenty of bellends to go around in every activity. Ideally the community understands the general implications vs personal ones (ie you might not get in trouble but every one then gets banned) and tries to de-swayed the few bellsends from doing this stuff. I was reading about a few...
