I have the base model and used a shim with the below dropper. Had zero issue and was relatively cheap but routing the cable down the seat tube was a pain, also wasn’t helped by me cutting the outer cable too short and having to do it all again.
yeah I’ve never got the shaving the legs thing, I can see why the need to wear tight fitting clothes to make you more streamlined but shaving hairs is another level.
If your in a pub and somebody offers you a £5k bike for £500 they will have no problem selling it regardless, they can grind frame numbers off and re spray the bike, it’s a lot easier than a car
it’s only if the bike is being sold on to honest people or comes into the hands of police then you...
As other people are saying nothing is 100% secure, they will just raise the stakes to get it.
Going back to the original post, this area is about 20 miles from me and it’s not surprising at all, they saw an easy target and took advantage of it, most likely already been sold for very little...
Me personally no, but I think it will be a key factor depending on what type of riding you do, if it’s just mainly flat trails with climbing then shouldn’t be any need. If you are riding some serious black rock gardens then I could see the need for one but again I think it would need to be...
why on earth would you leave the shop with it, let alone pay them before it’s working??

I washed my bike today, well I say washed!!. Never been so carful not to get the TCU wet or the battery terminal. I think it’s crazy you have to be so delicate with these bikes, I mean it’s like being scared to put your car through a car wash.
I ended up wrapping a tea towel around the top tube...
My headset has recently started creaking, I’ve disassembled and cleaned and degreased but still getting it. I think I may need to get replacement bearings as I’m unaware what else I can do as I’ve followed all the advice in other threads and I’m confident everything is correct and clean from...
So I went to my local trail yesterday and as it was my first time in around 8 weeks due to the covid 19 restrictions I got a little carried away, I rode most of the 18 miles in turbo mode and did around 2200ft of climbing. The battery was fully charged and arriving back at the car I had 4% left...
I switched over to tubeless, i went from Butchers to Schwalbe. I went for Magic Mary on the front and Eddie Current rear, the Roval rims on my 2019 Levo are tubeless ready so was just a case of getting vales and sealant.
Its easy to do so watch some youtube videos and save some money. I've no...
Evening all, I just wondered what you guy use to work on your bikes. I use a Halfords bike stand but I feel the bike is a little too heavy for it, looking side on you can actually see it bow.
Can you get something like a Mx work stand or something that would allow you to rotate the cranks with...
