I go to my local screw fix and buy heavy duty engine degreaser for £9 for 5 litres.
Never had any issue using it in moderation, I just pour about 200ml into a small bowl and use a detailing brush.
Job done
I brought some 2021 SRAM Code R brakes and upgraded Uber bike E-Matrix E Bike specific pads, 800mm Nukeproof Horizon riser bars. And a new 11 speed quick link as I recently had a chain snap on my last ride.
Large RRP front and rear for me, it took some fettling to get on the back but works well. I leave them on all year around as the extra weight is no problem with Epower.
At least you’ve come to an agreement which works for both parties, you have now built a relationship with your LBS which will work well when you need advice.
It took mine two days to dry out, I ended up putting it in a warm place to dry out. Since I put the tape over the USB port I’ve never had the issue since.

Currently have Level T and looking to upgrade to Guide R as rear is 4 pot but don’t fancy getting the...
Morning, if you lift the TCU out on the none cable side you will see a USB port which has a rubber bung in (circled below), this is the update port. Sometimes moisture can get in causing the bike to read an error.
After much reading on here, people recommended putting electrical tape over the...

I personally use silicone spray, I spray onto a clean cloth and use that on the frame only, avoid rotors at all cost, I only lightly spray the rear mech, go up and down the gears and wipe of excess. I only use a designated chain lube so don’t spray chain, I also spray into the cleat block.
Good point, I ride a mixture of steep technical trails to fast flowing blacks, I tend to ride go hard or go home approach, I feel the level T isn’t giving me the stopping power I need.
