True, but even if it is too thick for 11/12s, no great loss.
my park one fits my 11 speed chain no problem. If you need it to fit 12 speed just file the tool down thinner.

Blind optismism, pure blind optimism.Looking at them, I'm not sure why you'd expect any different to be honest...
Those "pins" are more like pyramids, no wonder they don't give you any grip! Some very nice pedals, light Ti axles at 174g for both. View attachment 33473
Trouble is, they are a bit too small and my foot seems to move about too much. Sod it, i'm just gonna use the placcy ones it came with.

Yeah... just bad design that.Second hand, bought off Retrobike. Still, 87g each pedal and me, 144Kg, pushing up Sutton Bank. Shame, they looked so coooo-ewl.
Nice. Super cleeeeean!
Nothing a light touch with a flap disc on a grinder couldn't sort out if they are!True, but even if it is too thick for 11/12s, no great loss.
What are they made out of...cheese?
Wow, never seen anything like this before
You’re absolutely right, I did that as a test and you’ve passed, have the weekend off...lolNice. Super cleeeeean!
Can't quite be certain, but I think your quick-link is pointing the wrong direction?

In addition to what @GrandPaBrogan said, if you are not already wearing proper shoes, get some! Trainers won't do it, your foot will slip off.I bought DMR V8s with the bike, but they've torn my legs up, hence the switch. My legs look like a postman's wearing bacon socks.
Yeah... just bad design that.
Might pay to give some resin platforms a go - think of them as trainers. They are light, and I bet even the ones with resin pins will grab better than those... and won't damage your shins as much - just until you acquire some muscle memory skills so you no longer get wrong footed...
OR install your DMRs again but wear some shin guards.
Hang in there, don't get discouraged. Riding platform pedals is an acquired skill just like anything else in MTBiking. You'll get better at - it given time and experience.

I meant the story of why the bike is on the wall and not being ridden.Good idea, I've never had "a story" before.
A series of nightmarish incidents linked by an unspeakable sense of dread, yes, but not an actual story.
