Trek Rail upgrades, what have you done?

I have an Aluminum Rail 7 so my KIOX is bar mounted on right side of stem. Nyon Mounts over stem but I'm hoping alternatives come out soon but its pretty new.

got ya any idea what other chainring we can run in place of the ethirteen 34t?

I Don't think there are many options bigger or smaller....clearance for 36t is minimal, I haven't found a 32T....which is what I'm looking for since I typically only ride in Eco/tour.

I used a magnet I got on Amazon and some araldite epoxy glue. Give it a try

I had to use once my other bike center-lock wheel, I used the Levo center-lock magnet nut and worked

My Rail 7 Medium is almost 12 months old and has almost 3000 miles on it. I love how the bike feels right now.
I'm really skeptical about upgrades, but these are my options for my northern California terrain and my ~160 pounds weight:
Right out of the box (or almost)

Mino link set to the high position​

Maxxis tires with cush core (Assegai on front and Dissector or DHRII on the back, both 2.6 ~20PSI)
OneUp dropper post 180mm​

Ergon saddle​

Shimano H03C brake pads​

Six months old upgrades:

Zeb ultimate 160mm (I'm not a sensitive person, but the bike felt way better after this)​

40mm stem and 35mm 770mm handlebar​

Recent upgrades:

220mm rotors (Magura) with North Shore Billet adaptors: more control​

Ohlins TX22m 230x60 (~156mm travel) with Sprindex coil (390-430 pounds) set to 430: way more traction, couple of bottoms out​

Hello, I've used 2 of the absolute black little soft ali stickers, I cut 1 up to bend around the bottom of the chain stay, and the off cut of that is down between the chain guide, by the bearing. They are £1 each, I got 5.

Probably worth doing before it does get torn up a bit, mine is invisiframed, which has actually saved a bit of damage, I had a chain snap and the roll on of the motor made the chain wrap around the chain ring, which caused a bit of damage to the invisiframe kit only.

Hello, I used my new ohlins today, yes I'd say it's quite a bit smoother and not a noticable amount of bob (and i left it open all ride), compared to the stock shock, which I had no problems with at all and I thought it was great, but I wanted a coil. I also have it with 60mm stroke, giving a little more travel. Smash pot next I think

New Shimano I-spec dropper lever for my Shigura brakes (an absolute bargain and loads better than ZTTO or the standard bontrager one) new mudguards- RRP Pro guard front, recycled front mudhugger on the rear and a +3mm cane creek crown race to avoid adjuster damage in event of knock block failure.
Gone back to the 50mm stem and Bontrager carbon bars after using 40mm and 35mm riser nukeproof bars, no real reason.
I genuinely love this bike.
