After a few tests I can say that the landscape display is better than the portrait display..
Many user ask to me to implement this, and now I understand why..
The phone is more protected and the "line" of the handler bar looks better...

The map display has more space to show what is beside me than there is space to show what is in front of me. I also do not have to see what is behind me on the map. Also there is a lot of wasted space in the data fields.

Also it does not work well on the quad lock:

Sorry but where you see the "wasted space in the data fields"? I tried to used the field as better as I can..
If you have better solution, I will try to implement..
But remember that you have a very big screen..

Thanks Paolo. I'll check for certain next time I'm out riding but from memory the autonomy was way out.

However, now I understand the way BLEvo calculates autonomy I think the major issue in my case is that I use a range extender battery (which BLEvo would not know about) and therefore I understand why BLEvo cannot possibly compute this accurately.

Hi Robert,

Maybe it can be very helpful for you to buy the optional remote. I use it too and while riding you can fine tune the settings by the push buttons. You can also adjust all the functions behind the push buttons so for example, change to map view, on/off smart power, adjust assistance % or leg power, cardio (BPM) etc.

In case you are interested just check the BLEvo manual. It contains the link where to buy and a more deep explanation.

Hi guys I am the proud new owner of a 2019 Levo and am just getting used to the mission control app which seems ok but I am still struggling at what power settings to use in each mode as it came set with but I know I need to change those.

what I need to know is how complex is this app as I know I won't be able to get my head around all the settings so is there an easy start mode :) do you still need to set your own assistance and power settings or does it have a standard one that is popular.

I am just wondering how much you guys use it as for me I just use the bike and as yet I don't have a phone on the bars but I know this will be a great app but I wonder is it something that you all use with a phone on the bars and is the information and the huge question is do I need it :)

My wife really misses having her Bosch screen telling her how much range she has left.

sorry for the noob questions but I just don't want something that is too complex to use :)

I am in the same position as you with similar questions. I have been using Mission Control for several months and it seems to work....just ok really. I have recently started to fiddle with settings to help with battery life but its not really something I want to spend my time on.

I have been following Blevo and this thread for sometime but as you have stated it just seems to complex for me to be bothering with. Hi Andy,

First of all regarding "automatic" derestriction this will not happen! You really need to delibrately make the change and will also get the question of you are sure you want to perform this action. I am not sure which bike you are riding but derestriction is even not possible at all for Levo 2019 FSR which has firmware 2.025 or newer.

Regarding power efficiency, as I understand you don't need all the fancy stats and functions. Most likely you even don't want a phone on the handle bars although it can be very handy for navigation but anyway... I would to advice just to download the app and then just select the Smart Power functions. You can use Smart Power with or without an HR belt. After starting the ride and activating smart power you can just put the phone with display of in your bag. (you need to keep the BLEvo app running on the background for smart power)

The smart power control will let you first pedal around a certain threshold wattage. Around the threshold the motor power increases and you will enjoy proportional assistance. (so mostly you don't need to change to trail or turbo anymore but just ride in eco with proportional support)

hi, are you able to advise what firmware you refer to? my mission control shows firmware versions for motor, battery and display but none of them look like 2.025.

The difference in notation occurs due to decimal (BLEvo) and hexadecimal (MC) code but unlike Paolo I am not a code magician.;)

I used the extender handling feature on my latest ride and added 252wh for my additional battery but the autonomy was still inaccurate. At the end of the ride logged below it was saying I had 9 miles?

Also, look at the motor max power from this ride - without BLEvo I’m around 780watts on average but as you’ll see, this ride I was over a 1000! ???

I checked the code and the motor power max calculation seems to be calculated correctly.. I saw a bug in the total of motor energy.. 219 wh is too low..
Could you send the csv file to [email protected]?

Will do Paolo, I took another ride tonight without adding the extender and was back to ‘normal’ motor power max @ 700(ish) watts? I’ll send you both files....

Does raising the max speed from 25kph to 32kph have any affect on the tire circumference entered on Blevo? I have 2281 entered for a 27.5x2.8 tire on ios. I'm trying to figure out why my actual speed and distance is reported to high on Blevo by 20% or more.

I thought maybe my garmin was under reporting due to tree coverage so I mapped out an exactly 3 mile road ride. Garmin showed 3 miles, Blevo was at 4.08 with a higher speed too.

I've purchased a second hand 2017 Levo with a 409 wh battery that works fine with the Blevo app
With that, I can access the madness settings and modify the cm settings as well as the Accelerate settings which has transformed the bike:):) firmware 4.22.3
As the battery health is at 85% and I'm thinking of doing longer rides I decided to purchase a bigger battery, which I did yesterday.
The new battery is 504wh firmware 2.23.1, the problem is I now can't access the madness setting or able to even see the CM setting or the accelerate setting at all with the new battery.
My question is how do I access these settings on the new battery?

Are you sure about 2281? Did you measure when you were sitting on the bike?

The new firmware has fixed the bug of the CM and it has been introduced the pick power concept..
You cannot use the old setting.. sorry..

I've ridden 55km with blevo today, made about 1100 metres in climbing/ascending. Blevo in its core performed flawlessly, there are however a few minor things that I've noticed.

a) The autonomy is very, very conservative. I rode about 45km, had 25% battery left and BLevo managed to say that with those 25% (of 700Wh) I could only ride about 4km on 50% assistence. I rode the remaining 10 km on full turbo, and had still 15% of the original 25% left.

b) The map drawing isn't always accurate. I'm not sure it is the map, the app or the gps. But there can be as much as 30-40 meters of distance between the track i'm on and my position on screen. I'm pretty sure it's not GPS inaccuracy, because it is very predictable.

c) I'm missing data fields on the map screen. There are a few essential values (battery percentage) that in my opinion deserve a special place. For example the bike battery doesn't have to be a data field but can be a small colored bar (4-5px) on the top of the screen. Same goes for phone battery. Maybe consider drawing over the map with a transparent background? (Or half opaque)

d) When in map-rotating mode (track up) it's probably best to position the rider about 3/4rd down the screen. There is no use in drawing what is behind me.

All things considered, a very good ride for me and BLevo. Thanks Paolo!

I agree with point a and d.
Same feeling on autonomy left towards the end.
And it would be good to position the rider on the map lower, so more visibility on what is to come.

Blevo changed my riding experience ?
