Focus JAM 2 (Bosch), cubre motor, sump guard, motor guardJust pulled the trigger on a xl 6.8 down here in Oz.
Anyone know of a bash guard to fit the Sam Bosch combo?
is it the guard thats on ebay that only holds on by the front bolts?
Mmmmm, does mount via the front bolts but purchased direct from them, not ebay.
no bud didn`t order one.@ paul-g - how did you order from them? I can't find a website or any way of ordering.
no bud didn`t order one. looked at them and thought not my typeof engineering just having 2 bolts on the downtube and no fixing to the rear, big hit and you`ve split or damaged the ali. they really need to be fixed all round. you only need to buy the best one once
How's the bash guard doing there mate? Are you still happy with the buy or any cons? Thanks DaveI have installed it, but not yet crashed into anything ? so no durability testing as of now. The installation was easy, remove the screws from motor and replace with the ones that come with the guard. It does seem alot more durable than the one I bought from e-bay being aluminium and all. Be aware that the screws that come with the guard are of a low quality, I say this beacause I messed up the head of one of them when i diddent have my bit correctly in place and I did not apply much torq before it happend.
Other than that, no issues. View attachment 69677 View attachment 69678 View attachment 69679 View attachment 69680

Thanks for the reply. Curious because I found this one on a random google search...Ive got the same one fitted to my Thron² 6.9, can’t comment too much on overall durability as I’ve only used it twice since fitting it last week… but fitment wise is seems spot on

Still interested in what others are using. I've got a JAM2 6.8 and just adding bits to it. Great bike, almost cracked 1Kkms and lovin' it.
Yeah it's hard to know without physically seeing and hands on. No info on materials used or price yet so waiting to hear from distributor. I'll post here once I know, for interest. Steep learning curve but heaps of fun.Never seen they knew before, you can clearly see how/where they’re fixing it to the bike, but not sure if it like to be as secure as the AVS guard?!
Nice one, I’m a week into owning mine so still getting to grips with it
