Just pulled the trigger on a xl 6.8 down here in Oz.

I had the same guard on a Levo, then transferred it to a Kenevo.

So used it for four years... look at it... Obviously saved my bike hundreds of times, as our trails are rocky as can be.

Never got a hit up the side, would have to be pretty unlucky for it to slip past the bottom, up the side and hit the engine IMO.

@ paul-g - how did you order from them? I can't find a website or any way of ordering.
no bud didn`t order one.
looked at them and thought not my type
of engineering just having 2 bolts on the
downtube and no fixing to the rear, big hit
and you`ve split or damaged the ali.
they really need to be fixed all round.
you only need to buy the best one once

Should have mentioned. There is a zip tie attached at the other end, threaded around a bolt on the engine... and double sided mounting tape to velcro between the guard and the engine itself.

I only had the other guard attached using mounting tape to the kenevo and it never came off so I think it'll be fine.

Looking for a engine cover for Jam2. That StandUp one seems good but how about the price for it ? @Clue how is that aluminium one you ordered ?

I have installed it, but not yet crashed into anything ? so no durability testing as of now. The installation was easy, remove the screws from motor and replace with the ones that come with the guard. It does seem alot more durable than the one I bought from e-bay being aluminium and all. Be aware that the screws that come with the guard are of a low quality, I say this beacause I messed up the head of one of them when i diddent have my bit correctly in place and I did not apply much torq before it happend.
Other than that, no issues. 20210824_091831.jpg

Ive got the same one fitted to my Thron² 6.9, can’t comment too much on overall durability as I’ve only used it twice since fitting it last week… but fitment wise is seems spot on 👌🏼

Thanks for the reply. Curious because I found this one on a random google search...

Still interested in what others are using. I've got a JAM2 6.8 and just adding bits to it. Great bike, almost cracked 1Kkms and lovin' it.

Never seen they knew before, you can clearly see how/where they’re fixing it to the bike, but not sure if it like to be as secure as the AVS guard?!

Nice one, I’m a week into owning mine so still getting to grips with it 😂

Yeah it's hard to know without physically seeing and hands on. No info on materials used or price yet so waiting to hear from distributor. I'll post here once I know, for interest. Steep learning curve but heaps of fun.
