Mullet Rise.

Almost as custom as they come I think.

For people with the Rise Alloy - H and wanting to drop the motor - you need an park tool LRT-2 lock ring tool to drop the motor as it comes with a single piece chainring (no bolts) so you can't just unbolt the chainring and get to one of the motor mounting bolts.

Just received my Orbea Rise last week.

Upgraded:
- SC-EM7000 (thanks to the forum thread I found here): I have a Wahoo Roam which I like a lot, but apparently only for Garmin there is an Orbea RS toolbox available, and replacing the Wahoo by Garmin was not an option, so decided to go for the SC-EM7000
- ordered the Galfer 203mm for the front
- replaced pedals by Time Atac XC8, I use this system for 20 years and never have knee pain, maybe will switch to flat pedals in the future
- ordered Fox 36 front mudguard

Looking for a specific 35mm handlebar mount for my Wahoo Roam, but can not find it on the internet
Some riders on this thread opted for a Garmin Stem Mount, maybe that is also a solution ?

Ron, I mounted my Wahoo Elemnt on a stem mount I bought on Amazon.

Nice bike, nice upgrades !

My Rise M-Team was delivered with OC M20 due to unavailability of Fox Transfer, however I can buy this seatpost online now.
Was it difficult to replace the standard OC MC20 dropper by the Fox transfer kashima ?
Can you re-use the original shimano seat post lever ?

The fidlock seems interesting any remarks/benefits compared to regular bottle cage ?

After 150 miles and trying the Shimano drivetrain I finally threw on the X01 AXS that I had sitting on the shelf paired with the GX controller, X01 cassette. I ‘m super happy with the Bike Yoke L match maker that puts the controller in the perfect position.

I also switched from the RS Tool box to Esteps and stoked that I can still see Battery, Mode and cadence on the same screen as all other data On the Garmin.

Jeeptj01!
Anxiously awaiting my H30 hopefully by the end of the month. Only parts that are staying stock are the Frame, drive system, shifter, derailleur, crank arms, and chain.

The only stock thing still on mine is crank arms! They never fell off 😂 so no need to change! Had all the other parts except rear shock already

Thats the same boat i was in. I have to sell one of my other bikes to partial fund an ebike. Used market pays pennies on the dollar for upgrades so it made more sense to buy the base rise H, swap all my good parts over, put all the h30 parts on that bike and sell it with "new" components.

Luckily with rise has the same shock size as the bike im keeping so i have a DPX2, DVO Jade X, and an X2 (8.5x2.5) to try different setups

M20, Medium, White. Cross country/technical rider @150lbs.

Ugrades/Add-Ons: range extender (use when needed); SC-EM8000 display - NOTE: this display does NOT support bluetooth; carbon bar; ESI grips; Crank Brothers Candy 7 pedals; Specialized Toupe road saddle, 130mm, white; XT two piston brakes (I only upgraded because I put the Rise's OEM brakes on a different bike.)

Lightweight/value upgrades:
- XTR 11sp cassette CS-M9110-11, 10-45, 310g (has 12sp spacing), chain reduced by 6 links (20g) $249 on eBay. This cassette differs from the 10-51 model by not including the 51t cog and costing nearly 1/2 the price. (I almost never used my 51t cog.) NOTE: The M20 has the SLX long cage derailuer, thus you must adjust the B-screw all the way out so the pully wheel is as close to the largest cassette as possible (which is still not as close as it should be but the shifting still works great).
- Light Bicycle Recon RM29C07 carbon wheelset: 30mm inner, DT Swiss 240EXP hubs, Sapin CX-Ray spokes,1450g, $1K. NOTE: The 240 front hub is a little narrower than the OEM wheel thus, the axle nut on the Fox 34 must be adjusted so it fits tighter when the quick release is closed - but there is no adjustment. You must cut additional grooves into the axle nut. Simply done with an angle grider (or other tool) with a cutting blade.

Total weight savings over 2.5lbs over the stock M20 w/o the range extender

(Image is before new cassette and wheels which wouldn't be noticeable as I opted for stealth rim decals.)

Hi I'm fitting the same cranks Shimano em900 on the drive side did you remove the dust cap at the back of the crank arm

cheers
Yes - did the same the other day, and my Orbea dealer confirmed that the dust cap should be removed. Should not be replaced by anything else.

Replying to my own thread now I've a new M10 Rise (and will be selling my old M10 XL)

Upgrades fitted:
220mm Hope Disc and caliper adapter
Invisiframe - Front Matt, Rear Gloss
DeathGrips
Garmin mount on headtube.
RRP Proguard Front Large mudguard
Tracker
DHRII and Assegai EXO+
DMR Mag SL pedals.
8.5"x2.5" (216x63) EXT Storia with two offset bushings taking rear travel from 140mm to 162mm.
Replacement Airshaft in Factory 36s, taking front travel from 150mm to 170mm.
Head Angle measurement went from 65.55Deg to 64.55Deg. BB height from 338mm to 350mm.
AXS Derailleur and AXS Reverb 170mm dropper.
Fizik R1 Carbon Saddle
SKS Airspy Tyre pressure monitoring
FC-EM900 Cranks

On Order
NextSL Carbon rims, XTR rear cassette and Dissector tyres (Summer/Trail wheelset)

Keen to develop this as a long travel, but trail-focussed, fun, lively, light bike that works in the Surrey hills, forest trails, jump parks and BPW.
The suspension changes are a massive improvement.

Did u go with the stock rear shock size?
The wide angle lens on my phone distorts the image and makes it hard to tell but I mulleted it and went with the longer 216x63 shock. Really happy with how it feels. Unfortunately, I can’t offer a comparison to the stock 29er/shorter travel as I never rode it with that setup.
