Does anyone still have charging issues even with the latest (flashing leds) firmware?
I’m still not getting 100% battery at once when charging on the bike. It stops around 80-95% and need to unplug and repeat the process. Then, even at 100% , charger keeps flashing green light.

Yes, I'm having the exact same issues. Seems zo happen more often with 625Wh Battery than with 750Wh or 800Wh.

What Battery Size do you have?

You need a bigger battery then 🤣
Heheh. If they had released a lighter battery casing that would be tempting. These are built like a tank for no reason! Anyway, I managed to charge the battery off the bike and finaly got that green light always on. Lets see if that resets anything.
I am quite pissed off with all these charging issues. The only thing left loving with this bike is the maestro.

I have the exact same issue, charging to less than 100%, ever blinking green light, latest firmware. Reign E+2 2022, 625wh.
I also charged to 100% with battery removed from the bike but the problem came back once again charging on the bike. 🫤

After owning the Reign E+3 for a little over 2.5 years, putting a bunch of miles and a lot of upgrades on it, I was thinking about servicing the bearings. Neither can I find any information whichs bearings I need nor do they sell any packages containing stuff for a full rebuild. I'd be ok with knowing the measurements and type of bearing, so I could order some on my own. Is there any reliable site to get those info without having to deal with the giant support via email? I know, I could just measure myself, but if I start to disassemble the bike, I would love to just get it all over with.

I lucked out and found a seller on eBay selling all the bearings as a set awhile back. They are the Enduro Max bearings. I have them ready for when the time comes to replace them.

A little OT but with Yamaha exiting US emtb market and other manufacturers who used Yammie motors in their bikes moving to other motor providers for 2025 models do people expect Giant to follow suit with their next line of bikes?

Yamaha are only exiting the US market, but will continue to sell ebikes elsewhere. The market is too competitve to sell bikes like the Yamaha YDX-Moro series in a successful manner, this bike was a few generations behind on a geo & design perspective.

It's highly unlikely that Yamaha will stop selling motors to Giant & Haibike as both have relatively new models using various Yamaha motors.

The motor contract with Giant must be one of the largest in the industry as per the very high volume of ebikes they're moving.
