Not sure if you have been reading the EXE mega thread robrides set up. But someone in there brought to peoples attention that trek have been putting the NON carbon cranks on the XT model here is AUS even though its meant to have the carbon cranks and is specd with carbon cranks and priced accordingly.

From the pics is looks like you have the non carbon cranks. Make sure you call the shop you bought from and get either some money back or have the carbon ones ordered in and put on for you at no cost. Others have been doing this.

Just my opinion- I would rather have metal cranks than the carbon. I just replaced my Shimano 165's on my Decoy (way to many pedal strikes) to 160's. Two crankarms was $60.
