You did well to avoid the heavy rain, it looked grim over Winter Hill this afternoon
Unfortunately we didn’t avoid the heavy rain. It bounced down on the way through Bolton up to Horwich. Once we started on the climb upto Rivi it stopped. Too late by that point as we were all pissed wet through. It was a really good ride up there though. Definitely going back for some further exploration. You did well to avoid the heavy rain, it looked grim over Winter Hill this afternoon
To the top (568m) to have a look at the wind and rain ??Had to lean against wind to stay on track. Nice trip.
Crumbs, don't show that tower photo to @The Hodge !!
Too late... what has been seen, cannot be unseen
Seldom. But when it does the sky opens up and unloads. Flash floods everywhere. Quite dangerous really.Does it ever rain there?
Once I achieve wealth and power, I plan on retirement in Arizona! Love it.View attachment 47983
Another picture of my 3 hour ride yesterday.
Most outside of Arizona complain of the lack of greenery. I think desert topography is beautiful.
I think you need a bigger water bottle for that terrain. ????. Looks like great riding?View attachment 47983

I'm glad it looks as wet and sh1tty there as it does here
Yes it's a sticky mess in Kentucky. I force myself to ride no matter. The bird is even encouraging me now, saying things like "aren't you supposed to go ride or something, leave me alone."I'm glad it looks as wet and sh1tty there as it does here
Hi , it’s Dead center of this map - CF40 I suspect ?@matt_thebeard Is that SA1 in the background of the first photo?
