Nothing to do with Ebikes but came across this Monday on the River Beauly. Not sure if it's an escapee from the nearby Aigas field centre as they have captive ones. Beavers are also being released on some Scottish rivers in unknown locations.

Few good days here lovely . Van to Lossiemouth yesterday road trip home with wife 27 mikes ish. Back up on Levo for van today, offroad along the coastline about 18 miles exploring a bit as well. Three swans there for the keen eyes , Binhill in the background. Batten down the hatches for Sunday I hear so trampoline net down.

SOCAL HOOLIGANS LAY SEIGE TO UTAH WILDERNESS!!!

The area around Moab consists of various flavors of sandstone and shale, uplifted over millions of years, and worn down by wind and water. The results are breathtaking canyons, awe-inspiring rock walls, and miles upon miles of top-notch mountain bike trails. There were several EMTBForums riders in the crew, but their identities will remain anonymous. What happens in Utah, stays in Utah. Trails range from beginner through death-defying expert, but it's great riding for all.

I've been watching Matt's Recovery on YT and the Utah scenery and back country trails look stunning.
So 4x4 offroading is allowed but not ebikes?

What top speed does the motor on the Cairn cut off? How does it ride and handle after that?

Be 15 mph I'm in uk. Yes it's great bike to handle , don't go much over cut off unless downhill but handles great. I'm only out on quiet roads with occasional forest tracks . I only switch on if on an incline. 250 battery so won't last long with my weight if in hilly areas. Wife was out other day only put on motor 3 times.

Interesting ride yesterday.. back up to Kielder due to unforseen circumstances ( car related )..
Did the Deadwater Trail..sessioning the bottom section 3 times and had good craic with some riders here for the Northern Downhill event tomorrow ( Sunday) ..before moving on to the first section of the Osprey Trail & Osprey Chick..and that was going to be it ..however upon returning to where I park my car and with 50%ish battery available decided to do Skydive on The Lonesome Pine Trail.
About half way up it became apparent that this wasn't going to happen as the trail was being completely re-furbished and closed for the duration of October while this work is being undertaken..with obstructions on the track to stop it being used ...
Cursing my luck I still continued up to the Skyspace feature where I met another couple of riders who were here for the Downhill race ..and said they had been riding the new Trail which was still being built ..after a bit of confusion on my part thinking it was the track which I'd just seen on my way up it turns out that it was indeed a completely new section which starts from the recently de-forested section after Purdom Plunge ( singletrack off the boardwalk section ..which is still closed) .
Curiosity got the better of me and I had to have a look and what's been constructed is a wider than normal track to accommodate ( I'm led to believe ) adaptive mtb's ..this in turn will lead on to Skydive and the newly surfaced track.
It's not yet open with work ongoing but it's steep with BIG berms and will be a great addition to the trail network ..and will no doubt be opened to great fanfare in the not too distant future.

Quickly ride this morning to survey the damage from the atmospheric river we had yesterday. Met up with the usual trail builders. (6). What a mess!

A main junction to a network of trails is basically impassable.
Then I rode a few trails. They seem ok.
Another atmospheric river expected in a few hours.
