You motivated me to go check my today's stats.... I don't usually bother looking but remember I had a section I felt was fast ! Jeeeesus I didn't know I was going that
Wonder what the Ebike speed record would be ???? . Probably depends on how brave you are . I don't like the speed as I get older I keep thinking what if , same with skiing.

Since I can't ride due to injury, I decided to build up a "putter around bike" with some spares, Aliexpress and Pinkbike parts. What could possibly go wrong?

Have you been playing on your ‘ high consequence features ‘ again?😲
Haha... not so much this time. It was a regular day in the bike park but one particular trail was causing lots of trouble for everyone as it was quite slippery. I blame ego as I rolled right into the section and got tossed off the bike like everyone else did. Ended up with a broken finger and bone bruises on my leg. I should be fine just before the massive rain and cold weather sets in around here. 🤦‍♂️

Nothing…imo. You’ve got a metal lathe!
I’m jealous but I don’t have the skills for that kinda stuff.

Btw, you have a few more hours to heal up before the weather gets really interesting. 👍🏻
I found out when fitting my Aliexpress "5DEV" mtb cranks into my 68/73 BB, they were missing the appropriate spacers. So the metal lathe comes in handy, so does being a Tech teacher 😀.

Managed to get out for a tour today.

Even if having carefully prepared the track at home it is always recommended to check out upon arrival the locals latest routing recommendations:

Unfortunately a result of the wide spread bark beetle:

Looks like having a perfect mushroom season!

Following a stream a good chance to proof water tightness, but not isolating against the cold of the water😉

And what to do with a local swimming pool in the off-season? Waterski!?!

Just curious. I visited your site and I was looking for the certifications for this product. (See above link). I also couldn’t find any information regarding the certification of the batteries. Maybe I didn’t search deep enough?
