This is as far as the Romans got in Scotland ( Belle Moray Firth ). Levo away getting new pistons to front brake. Went on a run I use a lot but put bigger chunkier tyre on tourer I'm thinking of converting to a Gravel bike . Bit more dirdy on forearms but I'm surprised at how quick it was , about the same as ebike on eco . Intending to use this on wet days im fed up cleaning Levo every ride and the maintenance cost .

Started off ok a lovely day . Got about seven miles and motor number three packed in . Not too bad I managed to come home on the road . Squealing like a pig but no power would that mean the belt has gone ? . Tried to load video but wrong extension which means nothing to me . Be decision time after it gets repaired , keep or sell.

London, England during the last few days.

London was great. Weather was excellent and we did the full on touristy thing. Food was lovely too.

For any of us who have ever had chain issues spare a thought for the crews who flew and maintained Lancaster bombers. I never realised they relied on chains. This is a section of a Lancaster at the Imperial War Museum.

That does sound like the motor. Most Levo owners only squeal like a pig when they're paying for the bike (Either in shock at the price or joy if it's heavily discounted) or when their motor has packed up .. Is it performance line bearings this time around (@Bearing Man )

Yes doesn't freewheel backwards out of shed but maybe it's just feart to go out . Yes bearing man this time i think i still have two months of warranty phew. But I will probably upgrade before using the new motor. Been an expensive month for biking in my house. Ordered wheels and offroad tyres for the tourer . I'm a pensioner noo yi Ken.

Same for us, we were married there in 07 at chapel of the flowers, nice normal service
Bliss chapel for us, really nice. Mother-in-law treated us to the Helicopter Grand Canyon trip yesterday, absolutely amazing. Definitely worth doing if the chance arises.
Even the kids loved it lol.
Wifey took photos whilst I did the video so not much to show as I've not rendered the footage etc yet.

After months of hibernating in the house and doing nothing much other than work, reading, watching TV, and snacking, I got back on the bike this week.

I got the good news last October that Iā€™d be able to keep my leg. I was ecstatic! So much stress and uncertainty for so many months was miserable. And, though I enjoyed my time on the e-handcycle, I was OVER it.

But I spent this past winter feeling like I was FREEZING all the time, so the last thing I wanted to do was kit up (even in nice days) and go be cold.

Itā€™s warm again here in the High Desert, thankfully. I feel like being outside and I really, REALLY feel like getting off my fat ass and riding again. FINALLY.

I recently found a Burley Minnow trailer locally for cheap and was able to remove the seat. I added some D-rings for tie downs and now Sweet Pea the Adventure Dachsie has a shaded, vented place to tag along.

Weā€™ll be back to weekend bikepacking soon!
