Perhaps...depending on any increase of life insurance premiums/ payout...We rode “Metal Masher”, a gnarly 4x4 trail near Moab, two years ago.
Mrs levity suggested that we “try it again” this year.

Another tough but enjoyable ride in the North Pennines ..as The EMF has done an excellent write up I will just add a few more pics ...Another excellent ride out today on a route mapped by @The Hodge. Myself, Neil and Jaco covered 24 mile and almost 3100ft of climbing in Upper Weardale in the North Penines.
The loop from Cowshill to Ireshopeburn took us out and back via the Burnhope Reservoir was a brilliant ride. What a bleak and desolate place this is scattered with the ruins of old lead mines long since worked out. It was cold and windy but a ride I’ll defiantly do again…..thanks to Neil and Jaco for their company and craic and again to Neil for a well earned pint of the black stuff on the way home.
A couple of pics of my two riding buddies almost at the top of the climb out of Cowshill View attachment 88532 View attachment 88533 View attachment 88534 View attachment 88535 View attachment 88536 View attachment 88537

Great views all around before a thumping descent towards Clapham.
Clapham is an excellent place as is HelmsleyAs an aside, our family tree has my families ancestors (The Foster's) from the 16th through to the 18th century living in and around Clapham, and buried in St James churchyard at the bottom of that descent. Small world. Now in Helmsley... even smaller world.
