Back up and running today after fitting new speed sensor wire another thing on warranty .
Done a great clean up job in my local area after the November storm I think it was.

Well having thought that the bike was out of action it came as a huge surprise to find out that it was ready to pick up ..massive thanks to Ian & Mart at The Bike Place Kielder for service above & beyond ..
Having missed the ride with the lads I went up to Kielder and rode every section of singletrack that is currently open ( most of the Lonesome Pine & Osprey Trail is still closed ) along with a stretch of The Lakeside Way some of it a few times ..
Brilliant weather & a nice afternoon ...

Ooooooooff im off hard and busted my shoulder absolute agony and not sure if anything is broke ! Never broke anything before so dont know how it should feel ! Cant see any lumpy bits sticking out nor any grinding of bone ( that wasnt there prior ) so gonna hold off going to A&E for now. Oh bugger, hope you’re ok. Looks like you’re in the middle of some moors and have to find your way back in pain. It’s a high chance it’s a broken collarbone as it’s a common bone to break in falls, especially f you feel like your shoulder is knackered. A&E will put your arm in a sling and tell you to rest for the next 4-6 weeks

Is the bike ok ?

Just at the start of a gnarly down section that ive ridden lots of times, was easier to go back up than to risk going down as it gets rough and gates to lift over !! about 6 miles away from home so could have been worse but yeah the pain back was intense.
it hurts but i can move and grip with the arm etc ( can you normally do that if somethings broken ? ).

The bike is fine
