Picked up my SL Comp today. As I mentioned earlier, the tag on the bike said it was a MY 2021. It had Guide RE levers and calipers. Everything else seemed identical to the 2020 spec. I compared it to a bike on the showroom and that Comp had Guide R brakes.

BTW, I thought I read people saying that with the SRAM shifters you can't change multiple gears and only Shimano could? With the big gear lever, I was able to sweep through 2-3 gears in 1 press.

There are 2 versions. The SL came with the multiple gear change versions. the full fat one came with single gear shift.

Have been riding at Ylläs in Finish lapland for few days now.
Did leave the ebike home and been testing the enduro.
Today we rode 48km and get 1247m elevation.

Sorry for the noob question, but is there a way for the Mission Control app to have updated charge progress listed? I was charging my SL today and I could see bars being added on the TCU, but Mission Control's battery % doesn't update dynamically. Also, I'm guessing there's no way to get a notification to the phone (if it's in range) and the battery is full?

So I took a brief look at a newly-arrived 2021 SL Carbon Comp at my LBS today. (Mine is scheduled to arrive in a few days.) I noticed it had a 10-52t cassette as opposed to the 10-50t on the 2020 model. Anyone here wish they had a 52 bail-out gear? Seems like overkill on an e-bike. I will go back tomorrow to see what else is different.
10-52?????

I’d have to take off my shoes to count that high.

Who makes it? ?

WOW that looks like an amazing place, where is this park?

Mammoth Bike Park in California. It’s a pretty unique place. I will post up more footage later, as I have a lot. That run is technically a double black, but I think it’s more black. There is some gnarly stuff on the hill, and a lot of “surfing” rim deep kitty litter (pumice rock). Smashing PRs every day out here.

Do you have a recent versions of Mission Control and Battery firmware ? The versions I have show the bike's charge status under the Diagnose submenu while charging (latest MC; Battery v.2.4.11).

Time for blingy wheels. King hubs, Zipp 3zero rims, X01 block. Michelin Wild AM tyres at 2.35”. Getting out and about tomorrow morning - will report back.

Excellent work by these guys at Ace Bicycles near Guildford who are a really impressive, knowledgeable and helpful bunch. Take my money (again) dammit.

I did some testing today when I was charging it again and maybe it's an Android issue. I can see the battery % moving the first time I have the app open. If my phone goes to sleep or the app goes to the background and I come back, the battery % stays stuck on the same %. However, if I manually close the app and reconnect the bike, it's up to date.
