New motor guard BAFANG

Made a new motor guard as broke current plastic one did this with my AC welder and used 60 thou 6061 t6 alloy disappointed it was 30 grams heavier though

This is really bad, the extra weight! Before You throw it away, send it to me. I could live with it 😊
Ha ha yeah I’ll live with it built the bike at 20 kg and just hate having to add bits , I build helicopters as well and the same goes for them. Build something light and it generally goes faster and handles well.
Just got to sort out a new motor controller and we’ll be cranking.

Here’s pics of the guard unbolted and the original one repaired so it could be used if needed I presume this could happen too most of these BAFANG guards if you smacked them on something big on the trail. Just a alloy block with 5mm screws tapped in and the same 4mm on the side
