M820: Which gravel or hard tail frames are available?

I hope it is alright to post that in this forum - am looking into replacing my current daily driver gravel/cyclocross (with fenders) bike with an ebike.

Are there any gravel frames for the M820 system, other than this one? I can't find anything on the web.

If there are any old school geo hard tail MTB frames, that would fit the bill, I would take that as well, where one could run a short stem and a wider gravel drop bar.

Wouldn't matter if carbon or aluminium.

Thanks for any replies.

I found a few frames that might qualify, do the M800 and M820 share the same mount?

Zhaoseng who produced CEF50 will also produce gravel version with m820 motor. U can ask Linda.

Thanks for confirming, that is what I had assumed.

Thank you for the reply, could you provide a link, please? Or send me their email adress via private message?
I am not able to find that company. You are not talking about LightCarbon, or are you?

Thanks, I just edited my post 30 seconds before you posted that link. I had found it in the meantime!

Will contact them and ask for Linda, thanks!

Have there been any new developments regarding this? I wrote to Linda again, about their upcoming gravel frame, but didn't get a reply.

Still looking for a nice, no frills M820 gravel frame, alloy would be fine.

Servus aus Franken. ;)
What about the E1029, you shared in your first comment?
Do you have any information about this?

Servus zurück aus der Hauptstadt.

Yesterday, I wrote to Yishun and 4Leaf, no reply so far from the latter, but Yishun sent out an automated reply, that they are only looking for bulk orders of 50+units, so I assume I won't hear back again from them anytime soon. :(
I asked 4Leaf if their frame would also fit an M820, we'll how they reply.

Those two alloy frames from Silverback and Gepida would be almost perfect for me, if they would not have the M800 mount, instead of M820...
Where are all those alloy frame companies? I never see them discussed on forums, do they not sell directly at all? For a daily driver, I would actually prefer an allow frame over carbon.

Like I said, an old school geo hard tail frame might also fit the bill, as long as its geo can be repurposed.

Wow, that looks very nice!
The price seems very reasonable as well with the components on the pictures.
Unfortunately the pictures don't match the specification...
Interesting would be a frame + motor + battery...

Uau, isso parece muito bom!
O preço também parece muito razoável com os componentes nas fotos.
Infelizmente as fotos não correspondem às especificações...
Interessante seria um quadro + motor + bateria...

Thanks you for your recent suggestions, guys.

I was in touch with Zhaosheng, and they confirmed developing a gravel frame, but I haven't heard back from them since January.

Thanks, the page is offline, but I assume that frame is now their Voyager gravel bike. I inquired if they also sell a frame set only.

Thanks, it does seem like this is the same frame that ICAN sells, but I might be mistaken?

Another one for the list, the Hybridizer Rando. This one with an unusually large battery (860Wh claimed, more like 720Wh in my estimate).
Thanks, the geo is interesting, as they use a shorter stem of only 70mm, but have more reach. Maybe this is a great bike for bike travel, with its high battery capacity?
It would be interesting to find the manufacturer of that frame for DIY.

Also, we just had the announcement of Lighcarbon's exciting new rear suspension gravel frame.

EDIT: I just found this alloy frame!
Maybe one could get ahold of it? It seems they only do wholesale, but I will give it a try.

Nevertheless , I am still looking for an alloy frame, as this would be my 365 day daily driver, and I fear carbon is not up for that, when used in the city, where yo always ding your frame somewhere, when having to lock it. The ability to mount a rack is therefore also paramount.

Thanks, for sharing your all your research. It seems like we are in the market for a similar bike.

If you hear anything about the alloy frame, please let me know. It is almost exactly what I am looking for, but I get the impression they only do wholesale.

The Lightcarbon seems quite nice as well, but I am not so sure about the geometry and would prefer alloy.

@El Topo I found this alloy frame from Taiwan that might be close to what you're looking for.
Great find, thank you a lot! This one looks quite nice. Will contact them via email.

How did you manage to find that frame though, I searched for all kinds of things, but this site never came up. :-/

i searched #m820 on instagram 😁
After thinking about it more, I am starting to lean towards the lightcarbon.
