Correct .. the Gen4 was originally developed around the Mahle M20 motor. There was an aspect about the motor which didn't really fit with the ethos of the Levo.Believe ... I was sure it is a new Mahle but it seems they went with their long time partner still.
i heard it´s still the brose drive s mag but with 110nm in the Top ModelCrazy. So is it a Brose Peak they are using or something else Brose have cooked up? I feel given the stats we know about the Peak it would be pretty underwhelming in 2025.
That's even crazier if true. Switching the Mahle and it not working out and then going back to Brose but not even with their newest offering.i heard it´s still the brose drive s mag but with 110nm in the Top Model
Sorry, complete bullshit in my eyes...not really cause the peak 3 is not finished right now and with the Mahle doesn´t work, so they had no other choice to tune the S Mag. And some rumors say the Motor is called Specialized Motor and not Brose so they can sell it as "new"
Specialized is out of California and dji is not legal in California now. The new California law now clearly states anything over 750watts is not class one. The law formally stated “continuous 750 watts” now it just states “750 watts”. Just like that, no dji.I think the new levo has to come with dji motor, otherwise they will miss everything. Brose is too heavy in the past, too problematic and inconsistent. Who is going to buy a 23kg brose 110nm bike for 13000 eur ?

Oldscool uggly motor.
Ooh, be careful that you're not labelled like me as an "Amflow hater"What am I missing here, the clamour for a DJI motor in everything, but isn’t that motor a bit of an unknown for now regards reliability?
...
You need a front mudguardSorry, complete bullshit in my eyes...
Every Gen was called Specialized.
Looks like last year's cubes
The Trek looks heavy to me. 52+ lbs for a top of the line build with carbon rims. Compare that to 47 for a Santa Crus Vala. Granted the battery is 600 vs 800 but it's still lighter even with a range extender. As of right now from what I have seen, the new trek rail is looking really good. Stock is 160/160mm travel with options to up fork to 180mm and you may be able to up shock it for 173mm….. in a choice between a 160/150mm travel bike and a 180/173mm bike, the choice is pretty easy. I really hope specialized doesn’t drop the ball and offers options for something other than a trail bike.
