DJI is not like the temu chinese companies. They are developing and producing their own stuff and have a positive brand recognition for their drones.
Mmmmh... Even if Chineese 're well know to make good products (after copying US or EU products...) do you really think that's it's possible to compare 500 grams drones tech and 20 kilos E-MTB ones ? For sure they can be attractive by their novelties and/or approach but when I look to spend 5 to 10K an a new bike I think it would be better to go with a real MTB brand with a real E-Bike motor brand like Brose or Bosch (even if they're not perfect and can have some problems on newer versions). Just my 2 cents...

They are trying spider bash guards, those work when the spider is mounted on the crank. On a e bike the spider is mounted on a shaft that spins around the bb. Slam the bash guard/spider into a bolder with the weight of the rider and the bike into the guts of the driver unit…. Stuff is going to brake…… amflow= road bike.

DJI and the Amflow area great bike they have lots of power and ride reasonably good actually great BUTTTT THIS IS NOT A AMFLOW DJI forum
You want to chat about how great and it’s so powerful and bla bla bla go do it on a amflow DJI forum
What’s the point trying to justify the Amflow against bike that hasn’t been released tested ridden even hasn’t got a frikken price yet
And they are definitely NOT NOT NOT ( in a million years) building the or built the Spez to compete or out do or out shine the DJI
They built there best next E-bike and I’m frikken excited to see it , buy it ride it
Regardless of what it does or stand up against the DJI

for 5900 eur you can buy today, ebike with all this new things:
intentional overrun, maneuver through rough terrain with a pedal kick (bosch), multiple magnetic pick-up (dji) 2.8h charging (dji) or an equivalent display (dji).
It’s like all this package is about the motor with the AM Flow which seems a fantastic one … but the frame, the core of the bike does not match the engine’s performance for what I can read here and there from those who seems to push the bike further and harder than fire road loops

Again: a small battery at a premium price is a ripoff. For the price you pay, the Vala should come with the range extender. Santa Cruz marketing convinced a bunch of fat wallets to pay more for less battery and range. I am hoping the industry will follow Ibis with the Oso with a full power Bosch and a 800wh battery for 6k…. That a carbon frame with axis and Fox suspension…. $6,000!
I don’t think you’re getting that the first run about with the Oso was an absolute failure when it came to sales and this 6k price is a swing for the fences. It costs a lot less money and time to change the paint colors and lower the price than the alternatives.

Lady's and Gents, we realise there's not much to discuss on the Gen4 front but can we cease discussing the faults or otherwise of the Amflow/Avinox, or comparing it to a bike which hasn't even been released, in this thread.

If you wish to tell the world your educated opinions on a bike you don't own and haven't seen or ridden, please feel free to either do it in the relevant Amflow thread (where you have already, so why you're repeating it here I have no idea) or start your own thread to put forward your conjecture.

Further use of the letters A M F L O W in this thread will result in a reply ban to the thread (you can still use those letters, but not all 6 in the same word).

@mustclime you have a 7 day ban as you've been previously warned.

Thanks all, enjoy the wait.

Sure! So I should sell my gen.3 to upgrade, spend at least 5000 euros to buy let's say a Vala, and have a battery with 100 W/h less, take another 500 euros from my wallet for the RE and do the same things I do today with my bike? Mmmmm...
Agreed. The SC just made their version of the Gen 3 with a smaller battery. Down to the Geo. Not an accident.

Gen 3 is still relevant and I'm not going gen 4. Maybe Gen 5.

I AM FeeLing that Outbursts about other bikes aren't Warranted in this thread.
Seriously now, these convos get heated for no apparent reason - to each his own. IDK if this point has been represented, but I for one buy my ebikes only from Specialized (and I think there are others - hence the Porsche / Nissan analogy). Not that other bikes/brands aren't good, not that I agree with their exuberant pricing and then heavy discounts after a year. But through owning a Levo, then Kenevo SL, and now Levo SL gen2 I think the integration of all parts components, the fewer issues and failures, and the amazing support I get from both LBS and Specialized dedicated shops are worth the shortcomings. Also I'm not a Specialized fanboy - I do own other brands (my trail bike is Tallboy and my gravel bike is Lauf). But I have friends with other ebikes and I do read the forums and honestly there's always something going on with other brands / integrations - maybe it's reliability issues with an otherwise great motor like Fazua, maybe it's battery recalls done-wrong like Canyon, maybe it's a display that in 2025 still shows only bars (what's up with that?? Some motor vendors living in the 90's...). Again, not that I didn't have issues, like bad cables or broken carbon wheels - all got taken care of immediately.
Now back to the rumor mill here - I'm very confident that Big S will offer a more powerful motor and some battery options that include the mid-level batteries (400-600Wh) to allow for sub-50lbs bike weight. This Levo Gen4 is probably going to be more of a Levo SL and Kenevo SL killer than anything else, because it's pretty clear at this point that people want more range/power but some still care about handling and "real bike" feel (whatever that means - 45 lbs is still very heavy for a bike). They probably offer long range travel option so they can kill off the KSL and compete with hardcore enduro ebikes, and they might offer a 400wh battery so there's still an "SL" option - aka 42'ish lbs. Motor won't go beyond 100Nm because none of the motor vendors they work with do it, and frankly nobody really needs it.
To summarize, so you can point to this point and say "damn he was right!"
* 95Nm motor, 632 or 814Wh battery options
* 160/155 suspension with Fox 36 and Genie, with LT option 170/170
* Mullet and 29er capable (interesting what will be the default)
* Weight of 632Wh option will be around 46lbs for S-Works size S4
* Adjustable geo can take HA all the way to 63.2 deg
* To be announced close to April 6th
You're welcome!

Hello All first time poster, but I have been following this thread for several months and like most of you pretty amazed at how tight lipped the news ha been on the Levo Gen4s. Like most of you thinking about adding this bike to you quiver it pretty hard without knowing any specs and whether or not the gen4 is a large leap or just a step up from the gen3. I have been working with my LBS for many years buying specialized bikes, so I can say I have an above average relationship. I have been pumping them for months on any updates/insights/specs of the bike. About a month ago was in the shop and they had just had the rep in and told me the bike would be launching march / april but weren't allowed to share more... But assured me that the bike was not going to be a large step up from the Gen3. Today I walked in and as normal it was busy taking care of customers. So I sat patiently sitting at the counter talking to the techs about my morning ride and the perfect trail conditions. When the manager was free he came over and of course I immediately hit him up on any updates, and to my surprise he said he had specs to share. Ok so take this for what its worth as they have never steered me wrong. The new Levo Gen4 with boast 110Nm of max continuous torque and 1100 watts max output... with the caveat of needing a extended battery to hit the 1100watts.. which will be different than the current extended Bat. Well there my contribution... he said they would be available in 3 weeks.

I Heard spesh want the dji Motor exklusiv for the levo. But dji says No.
So maybe sworks with dji, cause blueprints exist and the other Bikes with new brose?
That would be so funny if it’s the case…..
all the “bike we can’t name” haters on here end up getting a DJI motor.
I’d def stand in line for that.

I remember when the levo riders were getting so upset when the brose motors were self destructing… how quickly we forget and start bad mouthing other brands…..

A s-works with a dji would be mint

Still hoping and speculating when all the info is in here... I asked chat gpt :)

No LT option unless Cascade steps in - 150mm rear stock.
600 or 840 side removable batteries with 280 range extender (can run only on the extender !! with half the power).
110nm on sworks, 100nm for the rest on a Brose x Specialized non belt drive motor.
Levo sl shape with a FAT downtube.
Fast charging.
Small toptube screen (like on a smart watch).
23kg (ish) for s-works with 840w battery and dh tires .

I was told the same last year, but like you say DJI says no. On the Gen 4 local shop asked what size I wanted in S works, S4 for me. Bike available early next month. This will be my 5th S works E bike in past 6 years.
